Someone Has Thought Up The Ultimate Trick For Halloween

When it comes to trick of treaters, people basically fall into one of two camps: they're either prepared with a bowl/bag of sugary treats ready and waiting or they're going to keep the lights low and pretend no one is home. One of the groups will end up with a lot of egg and flour on their windows in the next few hours.
In my experience, it's easier to just bulk buy whatever treats are on offer and always get more than you think you'll need, for two reasons - 1, you can eat the left overs and 2, you don't want to run out and have to start handing out fruit, nobody wants fruit on Halloween, even the pumpkins don't get eaten. Think back to being a kid and going trick or treating and someone handing you an apple. You thought they were a dick, didn't you? Admit it.
But one man has imagined something far worse than that. Yup, designer Adam The Creator thought up something so terrible that even the frightening urban legends about poisoned sweets can't compare.
Behold:
He designed these tiny little bags of salad and shared them with the caption, 'I would legit call the cops on any house that gave these out'. Same.
Don't worry, though, such a thing doesn't actually exist. Adam just wanted to give the world the ultimate trick on Halloween. Well, it wouldn't be Halloween without one good scare, eh?
However, Dole seemed to think there could possibly be something in it. Responding to his design, the company tweeted to say: "But why stop at mini salads? Fun sized portions of pineapples, broccoli, carrots and celery would be the perfect serving of fruits and vegetables for a growing kid'.
.@AdamPadilla Thrilled at your clever thinking on Dole mini salads but let us know before playing with our brand. We've got even more ideas: pic.twitter.com/yLqufhJaDE

Shudder.
And if that isn't scary enough, the company then warned the creator about a possible trademark infringement for using their trademarks and politely requested that he asks the company before making any more similar images.
Scary.
