Woman makes terrifying discovery after daughter claimed she heard ‘monsters’ in the walls

What was originally thought to be her daughter's wild imagination turned out to be something much worse

For what was initially thought to be her daughter's imagination getting the better of her, this mother found out that the noise coming from the walls was much worse than she could have imagined.

The woman was left shocked and appalled after investigating what her daughter said were 'monsters' that she could hear in the walls, documenting her discovery in a video on TikTok.

The viral clip has currently got over 9.1 million views, and viewers were left incredibly disturbed by what the noise actually was.

Ashley, known as @classashley on the social media app, captioned the clip: "What nightmares are made of."

The short clip starts by showing a thermal camera's photo of her daughter's bedroom wall, showing a large orange area behind the wall, signalling that there was heat emitting from the area.

When the filter is then lifted, and the wall is stripped, it shows a large hole in the wall that reveals that there were actually 50,000 honeybees that had settled within the walls in a scene out of a horror film.

In the clip, she wrote: "When your daughter has been hearing ‘monsters’ in the walls.

"Turns out it was 50,000 bees buzzing."

Those with melissophobia/apiphobia will definitely be getting shivers down their spine - though several viewers were interested and demanded follow-up videos to document her bee saga.

The content creator obliged and even added 'Saver of bees' to her TikTok bio, as her efforts to clear the bees also was an attempt to save them.

In day one, she revealed: "Beekeeper removed 20,000 bees and 100+ lbs (45kg) of honeycomb from the wall. He found the queen and is able to safely take the hive to a new home.”

She then explained on day two that another 20,000 of the bees were rescued, and then the expert sealed the wall off to prevent anyone in the house from being stung.

Later, it was discovered that the honeycomb that weighed over 100 pounds was not only enough to fill a whole bin bag, but it had to be 'triple-bagged' as it was ripping through the original bag.

Some viewers were shocked that Ashley didn't notice the insects settling in her home, to which she replied: “It only takes a couple bees and a swarm that you might not be able to see to become a colony that’s 50,000 bees.”

But there's more to the bee invasion saga, as Ashley later discovered yet another colony with another queen bee, which needed another removal.

Despite being able to get rid of the swarm, the sheer number of bees that lived in her house left her home's walls smeared in honey, like the outside of a nice dessert.

To add insult to injury, her insurance company also said that they wouldn't cover the damages as it 'doesn't have anything to do' with the home itself, she announced in another update.

And users in the comments were shocked every step of the way, leaving their thoughts below the videos.

One commented: "This is literally my worst nightmare."

Another joked: "I would honestly rather have monsters in the wall than to have 50k bees."

A third asked: "You guys didn’t hear it?!"

To which Ashley replied: "Nope they only buzzed at night and she has a white noise machine in her room."
