Woman Gets Stuck Behind Restaurant's Sofa After A Very Heavy Easter Sunday Bottomless Brunch

A woman found herself wedged behind a restaurant's sofa after enjoying one too many prosecco's at a bottomless brunch celebration

A boozey bottomless brunch descended into chaos after a woman ended up stuck upside down behind a restaurant sofa. Watch the hilarious clip below:

Lindsay Clark, 40, from North Shields, offered the ultimate 'bottoms-up' after reaching for her friend's coat at the end of the Easter Sunday festivities.

Clark had been celebrating a pal’s 47th birthday at the TwelveTwentyFive restaurant in North Tyneside.

The group were enjoying a prosecco-filled celebration before things took a turn for the worst.

After reaching round the back of the sofa to grab her friend’s coat, the 40-year-old suddenly found herself tipping over, leaving her legs and feet sticking out from the corner of the dining room.

After a 10-minute game of tug-of-war with her shins, Clark was finally placed back on the sofa, and fortunately saw the funny side.

Lindsey's friend, support worker Julie Jackson, from Newcastle, recalled the hilarious events leading up to her friend going head over heels.

The incident took place after a boozy bottomless brunch.

She said: “We were drinking all sorts but a lot of prosecco. My other friend's jacket fell behind the sofa so Lindsey reached down to get it and fell behind the sofa.

“She was stuck for about 10 minutes in total.”

After noticing the pair of upturned legs in the corner of the room, the employees rushed to Clark's rescue.

Jackson went on: “The staff were all lovely, they could have been funny about it but they were really nice. It's not a birthday I'll forget.”

Julie shared the hilarious video on her Facebook page, where it has already racked up more than 2,000 likes.

She said: “I didn't expect to get that reaction. Lindsey finds it hilarious, it's just a bit of a laugh.

“She's always wanted to be famous, although I don't think this is how she expected it to happen.”

The woman was stuck with her legs in the air for 10 minutes while staff struggled to get her up.

Last week, a group of pubgoers were lucky enough to catch Ed Sheeran at their local, where they enjoyed a sing-along around the pool table while knocking back pints.

Ian Connor, one of the managers of The Roost, told LADbible: “He was in the area and just popped in because he knows [rapper] Jaykae before and has done a few bits and pieces with him, and Jaykae comes in the pub himself because he's from Small Heath.

“So, the pair of them came in because he had an hour to spare and decided to have a couple of pints and a couple of games of pool.

“He was good as gold, wasn’t worried about anyone coming and saying hello to him or having pictures – he seemed to enjoy having the pictures taken.”
