Woman Loses Tinder Match After Sending Disastrous Voice Message

Woman Loses Tinder Match After Sending Disastrous Voice Message

If you're going be on online dating apps like Tinder and Bumble, don't do this

A woman managed to lose a Tinder match after making an unbelievably ridiculous move that must have embarrassed her potential boyfriend. You can get the whole story by watching the video below.

As you can see, the unsuspecting – and presumably totally lovely – Tinder match called Alex sent a voice note to the woman in question – called Vanessa – simply introducing himself and telling her that it was nice to hear from her.

Unfortunately, Vanessa’s response in voice memo was to share several seconds of her and her mates p***ing themselves laughing.

Of course, it’s probably just a tragic mix-up, but it can’t be great for the self-esteem to hear a potential dating match chortling back at you after you’ve broken the ice with a message.

In a video shared by Vanessa’s friend Paolo, we heard Alex say: “Hi Vanessa, this is Alex, nice to hear your voice before, whereabouts are you staying in Vancouver?”

Vanessa, looking suitably embarrassed.

Paolo went on to explain how Vanessa had wanted to send a totally normal response, but accidentally sent the video of her and her pals giggling away.

“She wanted to respond and accidentally sent this,” said Paolo.

Naturally, those who weren’t involved but saw the video on TikTok were amused by the whole ordeal.

One person commented: “That is the correct response,”

Another said: “HAAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHA THAT WAS A VALID RESPONSE.”

Proving that the dating scene in Vancouver must be quite a small one, it seems as if others have had the pleasure of making Alex’s acquaintance too.

The disastrous note itself.

One said: “I MATCHED WITH THE SAME GUY THAT SENT THE SAME MESSAGE!!!”

Someone else wrote: “I swear I matched with the same guy.”

Well, if it’s any consolation he’s getting plenty of matches.

In a follow-up video, they managed to get Alex back - this time on Bumble - so that Vanessa could explain herself to him.

She told him: “I’m sorry you’re going viral lol.”

“I meant to say something but then it just sent. I thought I had a re-do.”

Alex, who seems like a stand-up guy, seemed to take the whole thing in his stride, responding: “Haha thank you for the free exposure.”

Alex seemed to take it in stride.

Then, it seems as if he decided to cut his losses on the whole thing and blocked her.

That’s Vanessa’s best guess anyway.

To be quite honest, can you blame him?

It’s one thing to be out there seeking a date – difficult enough as it is – but getting sent a message of people laughing at you and then going viral for it, that’s a different thing altogether.

Fair play to him for being a good sport.
