She met ex-husband Johnny Depp, the man helping her to cause so much controversy today, on the set of ‘The Rum Diary’ in 2011, and they later got married in a private civil ceremony on Depp’s private island in the Bahamas in 2015. 

Alongside their high-profile relationship and Heard’s successful acting career, she has found herself on the cover of magazines and walking runways all over the world. She was featured on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Taiwan in April 2019, and walked in the L’Oreal Paris S/S 22 show. 

Heard has also been known, quite controversially following the libel trial, as an activist for women's rights and is an ACLU (American Civil Liberties Union) ambassador. It was reported that Heard only donated ‘less than half’ the promised $3.5M donation to the ACLU from her divorce settlement, according to NPR.

While ex-husband Depp has a property profile of $100M, Heard is said to live a low-profile lifestyle with her 1 year-old daughter Oonah Paige Heard, who’s father is unknown, in Yacca Valley, California.
