With the Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime series The Boys now on its third season, fans are curious to know what actor Antony Starr’s net worth is in 2022.

Born on October 25, 1975 in Wellington, New Zealand, Starr began his professional acting career early in the 1990s with a small part in New Zealand soap opera Shortland Street.

He's also landed guest roles in Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.

Now, the 46-year-old fame has skyrocketed thanks to his role of Homelander in The Boys, which he has played since the show’s release in 2019.

What is Antony Starr’s net worth?

As of 2022, Antony Starr’s net worth is $2 million (£1.6 million), according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Starr is well known for his dual role as Jethro and Van West in the New Zealand comedy crime series Outrageous Fortune, which aired from 2005-2010.

The role saw him nominated for Best Performance by an Actor at the New Zealand Film and TV Awards and the New Zealand Screen Awards.

Starr is also known for his lead role as Lucas Hood in the series Banshee, which ran from 2013-2016, and as Garrett Hawthorne in the 2016 series American Gothic.

Starr also starred in films Wish You Were Here and Without a Paddle alongside actors such as Joel Edgerton and Dax Shepard.

But it was the character of Homelander that has made him a household name.

Antony Starr’s superhero is one of modern media’s best villains.

As the domineering, oedipal and incredibly right-winged leader of the show’s super ‘hero’ group, ‘The Seven', Antony Starr’s character is a villain you love to hate, and one most certainly in need of an Emmy.

Created by Eric Kripke and adapted from the Garth Ennis comics, The Boys is a refreshing take on the superhero genre.

It centres on a corrupt superhero corporation and the tireless efforts of a few ordinary men and women who wish to take them down.

The series, which has been nominated for six Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Drama Series and Outstanding Writing for a Drama Series, is now on its third season, with a fourth season on the way.

An animated spin-off series called The Boys Presents: Diabolical also on Amazon Prime.

Starr now resides in Los Angeles and purchased a $2.2 million bungalow near Hollywood’s Sunset Square neighbourhood.

He's set to star in upcoming film Cobweb, and the Guy Ritchie film The Interpreter, alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.
