Bam Margera has finally bought his feud against former Jackass co-star Johnny Knoxville to a close after settling his wrongful termination lawsuit out of court.

One of the longstanding members of the Jackass crew, Margera was fired from the set of their most recent film Jackass Forever, which his former collaborators said was due to his behaviour and health issues.

However, the 42 year-old saw things differently and so took not only Knoxville to court, but also Spike Jonze, Jeffrey Tremaine as well as Paramount Pictures, MTV, Dickhouse Entertainment and Gorilla Flicks.

The crux of Margera's case was that he felt he'd been forced to sign an agreement that he called 'psychological torture', with so many conditions included that it was impossible to comply. He says as a result he was fired.

However, TMZ have now reported that they've seen a new court document which states that the stuntman is now asking to dismiss the lawsuit with a settlement subsequently likely. The terms of that settlement remain private.

In the lawsuit itself, Margera had claimed that he was he was pressured into signing a 'wellness agreement' while taking time in rehab back in 2019. This was supposedly a condition of his participation in Jackass Forever and it's something he claimed he was unable to run past a lawyer, given he was in an institution at the time.

Margera was asked to take regular drug and alcohol tests as well as taking various drugs which the star said left him depressed and drained.

Margera didn't do this and soon enough tested positive for Adderall, resulting in being kicked off the production of the movie. Margera stated in the suit that Adderall had been prescribed to him by doctors for over a decade.

He went even further, likening his situation to that Britney Spears' conservatorship, and called the defendants 'inhumane' and 'discriminatory'.

At the end of last year, Steve-o had elaborated on what the so-called 'conservatorship' Margera was under in fact was.

"It’s not a conservatorship, it’s a guardianship,” he said.

“The conservatorship has financial implications, with a conservatorship they’re in charge of all of your money and everything. With a guardianship, they kind of leave your money out of it, and the guardianship they’re just like – there's rules you have to abide by and he’s forced to be in.”
