Steve-O has shared a message to Bam Margera as the new and final Jackass film was released, with a notable Bam-size hole in the footage.
Jackass: Best and Last reunited almost all of the Jackass crew after four years since Johnny Knoxville was almost gored to death by a bull, and the firing of Bam Margera midway through production for breaching a ‘wellness agreement’ in his contract.
Margera was fired during the 2022’s Jackass Forever, which then saw the star sue Knoxville and co-creator Jeff Tremaine, before he later threatened to fight the former friend.
So, it was a little shocking to fans around the world when it was announced that Bam would be returning for the 2026 flick, until Bam revealed that wouldn’t be the case.

Instead, he disclosed it was a deal he signed to allow archival unused footage from Jackass Forever to be included in the film.
But this comes at a time when Bam’s parents confirmed he is doing 'really well', after struggling with his mental health and sobriety over the past few years.
The 46-year-old struggles with alcoholism saw the star enter rehab numerous times throughout his career.
However, after being an inpatient, Bam appears to be sober right now, as he confirmed in a recent Instagram post that he has been sober for two years.
While his journey is still in its early days, his former cast-mate Steve-O went on the TMZ podcast to talk about Bam’s health – where he claimed he needs to take ‘accountability’ for his actions on set back in 2022 and also his sobriety.
On the podcast, Steve-O was asked if he was ‘sad’ that the cast couldn’t ‘come together’ for the final flick now that Bam is sober.
That’s when he said it was ‘wonderful’ that Bam, agreed to feature archived footage of himself and that he’s ‘evidently in such a good place’ right now.
But he said there are still steps he needs to take to be able to come back to the friend group, like for him to ‘recognise’ what happened in the past came from a place of love and bid to help him.
"If he could take accountability for what happened in the past and say, 'You know what, that's what happened and now I'm healthy. I'm willing to admit my part.' That's recovery," Steve-O said.

Whilst there, the cast member also spoke about Phil and April Margera, Bam’s parents, who recently walked the carpet at the Los Angeles premiere of the film on behalf of their son, and gave a positive update on his condition.
Calling it ‘wonderful’ to see them there, it also proved to be a good time for the mum and dad too, who gushed about Bam’s recovery efforts.
In a conversation with Entertainment Tonight, Phile said: "He's fantastic. I'm knocking on wood every day, but he's fantastic."
April added: "He's actually doing really, really well."
As for his relationship with Knoxville and a potential reunion there, Phil alluded he would be making amends with an unnamed person.
Although he didn't name anyone, Margera's relationship with Johnny Knoxville, Spike Jonze
"I guarantee you they're going to make up and they're going to be awesome together," he said.
