Ben Affleck Will Return As Batman In Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom

Jason Momoa says the secret is out and Affleck will be returning for the highly anticipated sequel.

Ben Affleck looks like he's putting on the Batsuit again for a new movie.

The actor is set to reprise his role as the Caped Crusader of Gotham for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom.

Jason Momoa dropped the exciting news on Instagram by posting a picture of he and Affleck together.

He wrote alongside the image: "REUNITED bruce and arthur. love u and miss u Ben.

"WB studio tours just explored the backlot alright busted on set all great things coming AQUAMAN 2 all my aloha J."

Momoa added in a separate video on the social media app: "It's not a f**king secret anymore, is it?

"That's what happens, Warner Brothers, when you walk out of your set and there's our fans [back stage]."

In the video, Momoa can be seen outside a trailer that reads B.A., aka Ben Affleck.

It appears the big secret has now been compromised after a bus of fans was driven past at exact the wrong moment.

Affleck and Momoa have appeared alongside each other in the DC Justice League franchise, with Affleck starring as Batman and Momoa as Aquaman.

While Affleck said his appearance as the vigilante superhero in The Flash was 'a really nice finish on my experience with that character', it looks like he's suited up for another cameo.

But he revealed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly at the start of this year that Justice League broke the fun of being Batman.

"I had a really nadir experience around Justice League for a lot of different reasons," Affleck said

"Not blaming anybody, there's a lot of things that happened. But really what it was is that I wasn't happy. I didn't like being there.

"I didn't think it was interesting. and then some really s***ty things, awful things happened. But that's when I was like, I'm not going to do this anymore."

When it came time to Ben deciding whether he should continue making Batman films or if he should walk away, he revealed a long-time pal helped him make his decision.

"In fact, I talked to you [Matt Damon] about it and you were a principal influence in that decision," he explained to Entertainment Weekly.

"I want to do the things that would bring me joy. Then we went and did Last Duel, and I had fun every day on this movie. I wasn't the star, I wasn't likable. I was a villain.

"I wasn't all the things I thought I was supposed to be when I started out and yet it was a wonderful experience. And it was all just stuff that came along that I wasn't chasing."

Affleck has played Batman in five films, including Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, Justice League, Zack Snyder's Justice League, and the upcoming film The Flash.

You can now add Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom to that resumé.
