Colin Farrell has shared an update on The Batman II, and it's safe to say fans are going to be very happy.
The Irish actor confirmed he'll soon be heading back into the makeup chair to transform into Oswald Cobblepot once again, while teasing that Matt Reeves' highly anticipated sequel is shaping up to be something special.

Speaking to LADbible Ireland while promoting the second season of Sugar, Farrell revealed filming preparations are already underway.
When asked whether he'd been back in the infamous Penguin makeup yet, Farrell admitted that’ll be coming soon.
“I think in about four or five weeks is when I'll go to London.”
While the actor was careful not to reveal too much, he couldn't hide his excitement when discussing the script.
“I've said it before and I'll say it again because it's just fun to say - the script is mega,” Farrell said.
“Oh my God, it's so good.”
The actor joked that he's only in “a little bit” of the film, meaning he'll be able to enjoy most of it as a fan himself when it finally arrives.
“It's grand because it'll only be four or six minutes of the whole film ruined for me,” he laughed. “The rest of it I'll be able to enjoy.”

The interview soon turned very Irish after Farrell discovered the interview was being conducted from Glasnevin in County Dublin.
The actor revealed his family once owned a shop on Glasnevin Avenue and that he spent much of his childhood in the area.
Farrell also admitted that despite spending much of the last 25 years living in Los Angeles, he's increasingly finding himself drawn back home.
“The older I get, the more coming home speaks to me,” he said.
The actor revealed he can see himself spending several months of the year back in Ireland in the future.
“I could see myself spending three to six months a year back.”

Bringing things back to his Sci-Fi, Film Noir-esque Apple TV show Sugar, Farrell revealed what he'd do if aliens landed in Ireland and needed a crash course in Irish culture.
His answer was simple:
“You'd have to take them for a few pints.”
Farrell joked that he'd probably ring Brendan Gleeson for advice before pointing the extraterrestrial visitors in the direction of the Wild Atlantic Way.
“You'd have to point them out west,” he said. “Travel up the coastline there, do the Atlantic Way in your spaceship.”
