Beyoncé Giselle Knowles, known to us as just Beyoncé, is an American singer-songwriter who has dominated the music industry ever since she burst onto the scene in the 1990s

However, the star considers herself not only a pop singer but an entrepreneur and an actress as well.

She makes her money through all these avenues, not only earning the big bucks from touring around the world, but also being paid millions by companies who want her to be the face of their product.

So after all these years at the top, how much is she worth now in 2022?

What is Beyoncé’s Net Worth?

As of 2022 Celebrity Net Worth estimates that the American icon is worth $500 million, making around $80 million on average in a touring year.

Beyoncé’s career began in the 90s where she appeared on a TV show called Star Search as a member of R&B group Girl’s Tyme.

This group was eventually signed by Columbia Records in 1997 and was renamed Destiny’s Child.

This is where Beyoncé shined, emerging as the leader of the group, helping to write many hit songs.

Their notorious debut album, Destiny's Child, slingshotted the group into fame.

However it was their follow up album, The Writing’s on the Wall (1999), that really took the groups’ popularity to the next level. The album sold more than eight million copies in the United States alone, and earned them two Grammy Awards.

Eventually the group parted ways, but Beyoncé’s music career did not slow down for a second.

In 2003 she released her first solo album, Dangerously in Love, and the rest is history.

Beyoncé has gone on to become the most nominated and awarded woman in Grammys history, as well as being the only solo artist in history to have No.1 hits in four different decades!

As well as obviously being hugely successful in the music industry, Beyoncé is also known to be a fierce business woman. Her first endorsement deals started arriving in 2002, beginning with the likes of Pepsi, L’Oreal and American Express.

In 2010 the American superstar launched her own fragrance brand, which has since generated a mass of $500 million in revenue, making Beyoncé’s brand the most successful celebrity fragrance of all time.

As well as her entrepreneurial skills, Beyoncé has also gained income from TV deals.

In 2018 she signed a $60 million deal with Netflix, to provide them with three pieces of content.

As of 2022, Beyoncé and her husband, fellow celebrity and artist Jay-Z, own an estimated $150 million in real estate in the US, with the couple purchasing a $88 million mansion in 2017 in Bel Air, California.

They also own a $4 million private island in the Bahamas where they can relax and get away from all the drama of being two of the most popular music superstars the world has ever seen.
