Blake Lively posts pregnancy photos so the paparazzi outside her home will 'leave me alone'

The Gossip Girl star lashed out at the photographers loitering outside her home who 'freak me and my kids out'.

How do you beat Gossip Girl? Well, you become her, of course.

That's exactly what Blake Lively has done by posting her own photos of her growing baby bump in order to thwart the paparazzi that she says are lurking outside of her home.

The actor took to Instagram to lash out at the loitering photographers alongside several adorable snaps of herself with her friends and husband Ryan Reynolds.

"Here are photos of me pregnant in real life so the 11 guys waiting outside my home for a unicorn sighting will leave me alone," the Gossip Girl star said in her social media post.

"You freak me and my kids out."

The 35-year-old actor also thanked her friends, fans, and followers who disengage with media outlets who share unwanted paparazzi shots of her family.

"Thanks to everyone else for all the love and respect and for continuing to unfollow accounts and publications who share photos of children.

"You have all the power against them. And thank you to the media who have a 'no kids policy'.

"You all make all the difference."

The baby will soon become the fourth child for the celebrity couple.

The pair met while on the set of the critically slammed film The Green Lantern and married in 2012.

Together they already have three daughters, James (born December 2014), Inez (born September 2016), and Betty (born October 2019).

Since the baby update, a source has told Us Weekly that the couple are hoping for a boy this time around.

"The timing is perfect because all of their kids are two years apart so they’re keeping with the pattern," the source said

Us Weekly claimed they confirmed Lively's pregnancy on Thursday, September 15 after the Age of Adaline star attended the 10th annual Forbes Power Women’s Summit with her growing stomach in full view.

She spoke to Vanity Fair about being a working mother as she showed off her growing bump on the red carpet.

"My family is the most important thing to me, and they always have been. I grew up in a family of five, and my mom is the hardest working person I’ve ever met," Lively said, as per Vanity Fair.

"I grew up watching a woman be everything: be a mom and also be the hardest working business woman I knew. So it’s important for me for my kids to see that you don't have to choose one or the other.

"I don't need them to choose to be a business woman or mum."

She added: "They can be both or neither, but [I want] them to see that anything is possible."

The Gossip Girl alum wore a golden sparkling dress to the event along with white platform shoes and a headband that would make even the sartorially sensitive Blair Waldorf a little jealous.

So, paparazzi: game, set, and match. You've just been outmanoeuvred.
