Bradley Walsh left stunned after The Chase contestant shares plans for gameshow inspired tattoo

Bradley Walsh was left well and truly stunned after one The Chase contestant shared plans for a gameshow inspired tattoo.

The TV presenter was completely floored after hearing one hopeful contestant's idea for her next ink idea during last week's episode (7 June).

Walsh was so baffled by the reveal he wasn't even sure if the woman was having him on or not with the bizarre tribute tattoo proposal.

The Chase welcomed four new quizzers to the show, Darren, Sam, Lily and James, who all battled it out to be the victor of the hefty cash prize.

The foursome were up against the Sinnerman, Paul Sinha, who was in top form against the team.

However, it wasn't Sinnerman and his nuggets of wisdom that stole the show.

Contestant Sam left Walsh's jaw on the floor after she told him what her plans were after leaving The Chase - namely what she planned to do with her winnings.

Walsh asked: "If you win some money - what are you going to do with it?"

She replied: "Well, I'm going to get my first tattoo, because at the age of 50 I feel like I can finally commit."

Now this is where it gets a tad weird.

Sam continued: "I'm also going to go on an Alaskan cruise - I've always wanted to do that."

As Walsh attentively listened, Sam went on to describe just what choice in design she had landed on for the body art that would be etched onto her skin forever.

Sam wanted to get a tattoo to commemorate both her 'Alaskan cruise' and her love of The Chase.

"So, I've decided my first tattoo is going to be an iceberg and I'm going to have the words 'The Chase' written as waves underneath the iceberg," she revealed.

Well, you got to give it to her, it's definitely an original idea and probably not one you'd find in your local tattoo studio's wall of flash designs.

Unable to decipher if she was joking, Walsh was left with a totally puzzled expression across his face.

But, not being one to judge, he resolved: "Why not?!"

In typical The Chase fashion, the final chase was super tense but the team managed to get 21 answers right.

Eventually, three players - Sam included - triumphantly made it to the final with an impressive £23,000 in the prize pot.

So, despite the slightly odd eyebrow-raising announcement, Sam ended up banking a cushty £7,000 for the final chase.

With that kind of cash you could probably get the whole North Pole tatted if you wanted.
