Bullet Train: Trailer, Cast And Release Date

There's a brand new action movie coming to our screens this summer, but what can we expect from Brad Pitt's latest movie?

Coming down the tracks this summer is Bullet Train, an original thriller action movie set in Japan and starring none other than Brad Pitt and Sandra Bullock.

The film is based on a Japanese novel - expect to see a lot of guns, masterful assassins, and, well, very fast trains.

And we’re all desperate to see the end of the tunnel for what is set to be another David Leitch masterpiece, after the success of his John Wick (2014) and Deadpool 2 (2018).

Bullet Train trailer:

Fans have been treated to a three-minute trailer from Sony Pictures, released on 2nd March 2022.

Who is in the cast of Bullet Train?

Brad Pitt will play the new blockbuster action hero, an aspiring ex-assassin code-named Ladybug.

The legendary actor is pretty loaded by now so we assume he’s agreed to it just to eat more food on screen - something that has become his trademark in recent years.

We’ll also get a decent glimpse of the fantastic Sandra Bullock before she takes a well-deserved break from acting.

But there are plenty more stars in this quirkier version of the classic action movie.

Here’s who we know will star (yes, the names are mostly weird - they’re all assassin codenames):

  • Brad Pitt as Ladybug
  • Sandra Bullock as Maria Beetle (Ladybug’s contact)
  • Joey King as Prince
  • Aaron Taylor-Johnson as Tangerine
  • Bad Bunny as Wolf
  • Zazie Beetz as Hornet
  • Logan Lerman as an assassin associate
  • Andrew Koji as Yuichi Kimura
  • Micheal Shannon as Jay Wang
  • Brian Tyree Henry as Lemon

When is Bullet Train coming out?

The train they’re on might be going at mind-blowing speeds but it sounds like distribution has been a little slower.

It had originally been scheduled to release on 8th April 2022. Then it was pushed back to 15th July, then 29th July, and now 5th August 2022. Let’s just hope that was the last delay, people are getting impatient.
