Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards Accidentally Sent 'Naughty’ Texts To Ex’s Dad
Little Mix star Perrie Edwards has revealed she once accidentally sent 'really naughty' messages to her ex-boyfriend's dad, saying she found the whole thing 'mortifying'.
Perrie, who once dated One Direction's Zayn Malik, spoke about the mishap in a new episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, which airs tomorrow night.
The 27-year-old told host Jonathan Ross that she couldn't even divulge what the messages said, as they were too racy.
Edwards recalled: "[I sent some to] my ex-boyfriend's dad... by accident. It was the most mortifying moment of my entire life.
"I sent a selfie of my face and loads of messages. I can't even say [what the messages said]. Like really naughty ones. Like really, really naughty messages."
She added: "His mam messaged the next day to say 'the iCloud is still connected'. It was the most mortifying thing ever, but kind of funny."
During the interview, Little Mix also discussed their success, admitting they had found things harder than they anticipated.
"I don't think we expected it to be this hard," Edwards continued.
"When you're young and you think of being a pop star, you think, 'Oh I want everyone to love me and ask for my autograph.'"
She added: "We don't rest, we don't sleep. But we love success so we're willing to work for it and it's been an amazing 10 years."
Pinnock, 29, also said that other people often don't realise what's involved in being a music star.
"People don't see how hard it is, the things that go on behind the scenes," she said.
"People don't understand the pressure. People sometimes see pop stars and think, 'Oh it is glam and glitz,' but it is really hard."
Thirlwall, 27, explained how each member of Little Mix supports one another, but also make sure they take time to go home and see their loved ones.
"We've got each other, that's the beauty of being in a band," she said.
"We just stay grounded with our friends and family.
"When we get time off we go straight home and see the family.
"Our mams would be the first to tell us off if we were getting a bit big headed."
