In 2021, Netflix viewers around the world fell in love with Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, who met on Love on the Spectrum.
The pair become the show’s longest-standing couple, known for their cute moments which of course include the ‘milk to my chardonnay’ love song.
In the fourth season of the Netflix dating series, Abbey had said that ‘neither one of us are ready to get married’ as at the time, the pair felt like they were ‘already married in our hearts’.
But it wasn’t meant to be as in April this year, the pair confirmed they had broken up.

There doesn’t seem to be any bad blood between them though, as Abbey recently issued an update on where she stands now – with a shout out to Beyoncé.
The Love on the Spectrum star appeared on Tea Time with Raven and Miranda earlier this week, reflecting on splitting with David after nearly five years.
“David and I decided to call each other ‘best friends,’ not boyfriend and girlfriend anymore,” the 28-year-old explained.
“And I have grown and changed a lot for the past four and a half years.”
Abbey added that without David, she wouldn’t be ‘where I am today’.
“He was a good start.”

The hosts asked the star how she feels to be a ‘single woman’ again as she said: “Being a single lady, like what Beyoncé says, it feels amazing.”
She’s practicing her family’s favourite mantras as she navigates a breakup as a bit of a celeb, reciting: “If I could do it, you could do it,” as well as: “The more you practice, the easier it gets.”
Abbey’s mum, Christine, was present for the podcast episode, and asked her what was something ‘funny’ she always said about David.
And the star replied that at least he ‘wasn’t cheating and lying’ like her brother’s ex.

As rumours of their split came to light in April, Abbey, David and their families shared a statement with PEOPLE.
"Abbey and David spent four and a half years together and truly value the time they shared and each other," the joint statement read.
"At this point, they want different things and have decided to go their separate ways, but they remain friends, wishing each other the best."
This came not long after the fourth season which saw David tell Abbey he loves her ‘to infinity and beyond’. But, some things just aren't meant to be.
