Former child star Amanda Bynes has responded to a viral video doing the rounds, which claimed that she was pregnant with Dan Schneider's child when she was just 13.
The ex-Nickelodeon executive was behind some of the most popular kids' TV shows of the 2000s, such as iCarly, Drake and Josh, and Victorious among others.
However, the release of the Investigation Discovery series Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV in 2024 brought forward several allegations against Schneider, which included sexism, racism, and inappropriate behaviour with young cast members.
A number of cast and crew members who worked with the executive in the 1990s and 2000s contributed to the docuseries, sharing their own experiences on set.

Schneider would soon respond to the allegations while speaking to former iCarly cast member BooG!e, who played T-Bo on the Nickelodeon show.

Speaking about the series, he said at the time: "Watching [the documentary] over the past two nights was very difficult, me facing my past behaviors, some of which are embarrassing and that I regret,
"I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology."
BooG!e pointed out that some of the jokes in the shows are now considered inappropriate for kids, with Schneider himself pointing out that 'every one of those jokes was written for a kid audience because kids thought they were funny, and only funny'.
Schneider has also said he has no issues with cutting jokes like that out of old shows, saying that he wants everyone 'to like (the shows)'.
But now, Schneider's name has been making headlines once more following a concerning TikTok post.

Recently, a video surfaced on TikTok of Amanda Bynes, who starred in The Amanda Show on the network, with Schneider in a hot tub for a segment on her show.
The viral clip, which appeared to have been posted by Bynes herself, claimed that she had become pregnant with the executive's child when she was just 13.
However, the 39-year-old has now completely dismissed these claims to TMZ.
The She's The Man star said that the TikTok video was not made by her, it was altered and 'full of BS'.
It's clear that whoever made the clip had attempted to make it look like the retired actress was making some serious claims against the former Nickelodeon figure.

Bynes said that it was cut up using clips of other social media videos she'd posted as 'lies for click bait'.
Bynes also said that the clip in the video was taken from a recent Instagram Story she posted, as she turned the camera to the guy she's dating, but the TikTok cuts to a different clip before she turns it.
In the clip, a behind-the-scenes angle of Schneider in the hot tub for a segment from The Amanda Show was shown, as he explained his job, saying: "I'm the executive producer and I'm the head writer," he says to the then-16-year-old, adding: "I actually wrote this whole conversation we're having right now."
TMZ also report that Schneider is suing the producers of Quiet on Set for defamation, as he claims they falsely portrayed him as a child sexual abuser and ruined his name.
