Amy Schumer has always been open about her health issues and now the comedian has opened up about a rather intimate recent procedure.
The American actress has spoken candidly about her desire to lose weight and her experience with both Ozempic and Wegovy, with both GLP-1 medications leaving the 44-year-old feeling particularly sick.
She's also been perhaps a little too honest about her sex life, and I'm not talking about her infamous experience with John Cena on the set of Trainwreck, as she revealed that her and her husband's intimate times had been cut down a lot since the birth of their only child.
In fact, Schumer announced her divorce to Chris Fischer back in December 2025, writing: "Blah blah blah Chris and I have made the difficult decision to end our marriage after seven years. We love each other very much and will continue to focus on raising our son. We would appreciate people respecting our privacy at this time.”

Any chances of her getting back out there seem to have been ruined by her latest health episode, which she briefly mentioned at a 'Not Skinny But Not Fat' podcast event.

She admitted that she'd suffered a 'botched colonoscopy' which left her feeling 'not very sexual' but thankfully for the live audience's sake, she didn't go into much detail other than that.
Despite the sexual setback, the Kinda Pregnant star confessed that she's 'happier than she's ever been before', after an intense period of change which included her divorce and significant weight loss.
Schumer has also previously spoke about her diagnosis with Cushing's Syndrome, something which incidentally stemmed from cruel comments online about the comedian's 'moon face'.
She initially wrote: "Thank you so much for everyone's input about my face!
"I've enjoyed feedback and deliberation about my appearance as all women do for almost 20 years."
However, when doctors got involved in the comments she started to wonder if something was genuinely wrong.
"At first, I was like, 'f*** off'," she told Alex Cooper on an episode of Call Her Daddy podcast.
"Doctors were chiming in in the comments and they were, like, 'No, no, something's really up. Your face looks so crazy'.
"I'm like, 'Wait, I'm getting trolled by doctors?'"

Her diagnosis with the hormonal disorder helped to explain things, since symptoms include a rounded face as well as weight gain, skin that bruises easily and purple stretch marks appearing on the skin.
Despite her split from ex-husband Chris, latest sources suggest that the two are still living together to ensure the best for seven-year-old son Gene.
A source told Page Six, however, that the former couple were still living together for Gene despite their split.
“She expects that they’ll co-parent full-time together and that he’ll see Gene almost as much as he does now — if not more. They are still largely under the same roof, for the kid’s sake.”
