Ariana Grande and Ethan Slater 'split' after almost three years together
Ariana Grande has split from Wicked co-star Ethan Slater after almost three years of dating, according to new reports.
The pair went public with their relationship in 2023, following the breakdown of her marriage to Dalton Gomez and Slater’s split with wife Lily Jay.
However, according to TMZ and People, the pair parted ways ‘several months’ ago.
The source added that things were still ‘amicable’ between Grande and Slater and that the pair are still pals.

A source told People: "It’s amicable, they gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways.
"They are still friends and very supportive of one another. They have been quietly broken up for several months.”
The unnamed insider went on to say that Grande is ‘doing great’ and has been focusing her energy on her current Eternal Sunshine tour, which kicked off this week and will wrap up in London in September.
The 32-year-old is also gearing up to release her new album Petal on 31 July.
Rumours of trouble in the relationship first surfaced back in November, but were quickly shot down with a source telling People they’re ‘making it work’ despite both being super busy with work.
“They both have a lot going on, but their relationship is the real deal,” the source said at the time. “They’re incredibly supportive of each other’s careers and so excited for everyone to see their new film.”
In a 2024 interview with Vanity Fair, Grande heaped praise on Slater, telling the publication: “No one on this earth tries harder or spreads themselves thinner to be there for the people that he loves and cares about. There is no one on this earth with a better heart.”
Slater appeared to be equally as smitten in October 2024, when he was questioned about ‘falling in love’ with his costar by GQ and responded by ‘blushing’ and replying: “It was an amazing year and a really beautiful thing, and I’m just really excited. I’m just really, really proud of Ari and the work she’s done on this.”
Neither Grande nor Slater has commented on the reports yet.
