Blake Lively gave a very honest admission about ‘boobs’ after breaking her no nudity rule.

The Gossip Girl and The Shallows actor decided to go partially nude for the first time for a 2016 film.

The psychological drama also starred Jason Clarke as Lively plays a nearly blind woman whose sight is restored.

All I See is You starred the mum-of-four as Gina and throughout the film, the character ‘slowly starts to realise that her newfound independence makes husband James feel jealous, threatened and insecure’.

Although it wasn’t exactly raved about by the critics (sitting at just 30 percent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer) Lively told Vanity Fair it’s the performance she’s ‘most proud of’.

And it required a lot of her - not just mentally but physically.

With some pretty steamy scenes, the film meant The Green Lantern star would need to be partially nude on screen for the first time in her career.

And this was so outside of her usual vibe that she nearly didn’t even see the script in the first place as her team assumed she wouldn’t be interested.

Director Marc Forster wasn’t going to budge on having the nude bits in though and Lively said: “I thought well, he’s not unmoving. Let me read it and if it’s great, then I’ll [talk] him out of it.”

The star then fell in love with the script - so much so that it actually altered the way she viewed on-screen nudity.

Having been married to Deadpool’s Ryan Reynolds since 2012, Lively explained: “I always find nudity distracting.”

She then made an admission to how she feels when she sees someone with their boobs out.

The actor continued: “I’m very in love with my husband, but if there’s a pair of boobs out, I’m a human being!

The couple have been married for over a decade.

“You’re like ‘boobs!’ It doesn’t mean I’m lusting for them, [but] when there’s naked boobies, you look at them.”

When the film was coming out, she also spoke about her Wrexham FC co-owner husband being understanding while she simulates sex on-screen.

Lively told Good Morning America: “In general, it’s nice to have someone who understands what you’re doing. Especially because our job is so weird. You have to be married to other people, it’s all so strange. It’s never normal, even when you’re both doing it. It’s helpful to know when you’re acting that you’re in a relationship with someone else, that that’s not what’s actually happening.”

You can watch All I See is You on Amazon Prime Video.
