Brooklyn Beckham allegedly sent a ‘legal letter’ warning his parents over their contact with him.
It has been reported that David and Victoria Beckham received the cease and desist at the end of last summer, requesting that they only contact their eldest son via lawyers.
This is just another layer into the ongoing rumoured feud between Brooklyn and his family, which is said to have begun in the time surrounding his wedding to Nicola Peltz in 2022.
But it certainly does seem to have become more present in the last year, with the 26-year-old missing his dad’s big 50th birthday celebrations and knighthood, the premiere of his mum’s Netflix documentary and then the pair missing his vow renewal in the summer.

Things also took a further turn recently when youngest son Cruz claimed that Brooklyn had blocked them all on social media. And it now seems like that may have been a result of this alleged legal letter.
With it said to be the last formal contact between him and David and Victoria, a source told The Sun: “Truly, people do not know the full facts of this heartbreaking tale, and think Brooklyn was just being truculent when he blocked his parents.
“The reality is that he issued them with a letter at the end of last summer, asking for any correspondence to go via lawyers only, and wanted to try and make amends privately, not publicly.
“He felt his parents continued to ignore his wishes and kept mentioning him online instead of reaching out privately.”

The source continued, claiming that David and Victoria have tried to let him know the ‘door is always open’ and show ‘they still care’, but after the alleged letter, they had ‘no other physical means of reaching out to him’.
In December, Brooklyn shared an Instagram video for a chicken recipe, which got a like from his mum and led to a slew of comments pointing it out.

It’s as a result of this that he is said to have blocked his family, as Victoria allegedly breached the letter’s terms.
The source continued: “They [David and Victoria] of course feel utterly bemused and devastated by this latest turn of events. There is no malice from their part, only concern.

“But it is clear, if there is going to be any reconciliation, it will be away from prying eyes and must be done privately.
“That’s all anyone wants but, alas, seems a long, long way off given they are only now communicating through lawyers.”
It had been reported following that chicken video that the parents had unfollowed Brooklyn, but in a rare act for the Beckhams, Cruz slammed this as ‘NOT TRUE’ on Instagram.
He wrote: “My mum and dad would never unfollow their son… Let's get the facts right. They woke up blocked… as did I.”
