Bunnie Xo has spoken out about the brutal toll her divorce from Jelly Roll had on her.
The celeb couple shocked fans earlier this year when they announced they were parting ways after almost a decade of marriage.
Although the couple split it seemed as though they had remained close pals, with Bunnie describing him as her ‘best friend’ and revealing the pair were even still planning to go ahead with their plans to have a baby together.
Jelly Roll, real name Jason DeFord, also opened up about the split back in June and said the pair remained close.

At a concert shortly after the news was announced, he said: “Me and my wife are best friends. We will always be best friends.
“We just got off the phone earlier today. Nobody cheated on nobody. She just did a whole podcast about it. You can go watch it. Every word of it is the truth. That will be my best friend forever.

“Bunnie, I love you, baby. Thank you for those 10 years. They were incredible. Thank you for the next 10 years of friendship and 20 beyond that.”
However, Bunnie, real name Alisa DeFord, has now shared startling new details about the emotional and physical toll the break up took on her revealing that she lost 20 pounds and was ‘on the floor’.
Speaking on the Open Book podcast, she said: “There were moments when my team had to pick me up off the floor and give me IVs, because I wasn’t eating.
“I was eating baby food to get by. I lost 20 pounds. Heartbreak, man, it’s the best freaking diet.”
Bunnie went on to say that she was pushing on but wanted people to know that she had been hurt.
“When life hands you lemons, make freaking lemonade slushies. Like, let’s do this,” she said.

“But I don’t want people to think like I’m just out here acting like nothing doesn’t hurt… Yeah, it hurt. And I talked about it and I let viewers in and I let them know on my podcast.”
The podcaster said that she thought many people may have thought she wasn’t sad about her divorce due to the way she had presented herself after the split was announced.
“I think that’s why everybody is mistaken, because I’m not crying on my phone on social media,” she said.
“My heart was shattered, but guess what? It’s healing, and it’s coming back even stronger.”
Bunnie said she let her fans in by talking about the split on her podcast Dumb Blonde.
However, she later took the episode offline, explaining that she had said what she needed to say.
She also admitted to making a ‘s**t load’ of money off it but says she decided to take it down because she didn’t want to see it every time she went on to her YouTube channel.
Despite her heartbreak, Bunnie says that being single is allowing her to step into her ‘own spotlight’.
“It’s just me holding the show, the attention,”
