Cardi B in 'two places at once' during Super Bowl halftime show

Anyone watching the Super Bowl 2026 coverage might have been questioning exactly how Cardi B was seemingly in 'two places at once'.

Bad Bunny took to the stage last night at the Levi's Stadium for perhaps the most-watched musical performance of the year, and the Puerto Rican rapper certainly didn't let his audience down as he produced a memorable performance featuring his biggest hits.

The 31-year-old had attracted some abuse after confirming that he'd be performing in Spanish, with Donald Trump later claiming that nobody could understand a word, despite it being the second most spoken language in the country he's president of.

But even for those music fans who weren't familiar with his songs, or simply cannot enjoy anything in another language, Bad Bunny appealed to another crowd by bringing out the likes of Lady Gaga, Ricky Martin and even Cardi B during an eye-catching performance.

Although Cardi B was just dancing in the background, alongside other big names including Karol G, Pedro Pascal and Jessica Alba, the 'WAP' singer attracted a lot of attention for her apparent time-travelling abilities.

A viral video has captured the rapper in her suite as the halftime performance was seemingly still ongoing, despite the fact that she is clearly visible during Bad Bunny's performance.

It's left many people questioning exactly how things happen in the stadium, as those watching on TV might get a very different version of events compared to those watching live.

A tweet from fellow rapper Flavor Flav prompted the debate, after he wrote: "This gots me tripping,,, cuz how was Cardi B on the field and in my suite at the half time show,,, at the same time,!!!"

Meanwhile, a TikTok from Barstool Sports also attracted a lot of comments, with one fan writing: "Cardi B is literally in two places at once what is going on."

While we might have simply been seeing Cardi A in the suite and Cardi B on the field, it does seem to have tripped a lot of fans up, even if the performers in Flavor Flav's video seem to be standing ominously still.

However, it seems clear that the halftime show has to happen live, because how else would the fans in the stadium be entertained at halftime.

Therefore, it seems as if either Cardi B hadn't yet appeared on stage at this point, or had already returned from her brief appearance, when she was coming back to her suite.

If it is the former, you have to respect how confident she is in her ability to not be late for her segment, or maybe she just has access to that time thingy that Hermione Granger uses in Harry Potter.
