Brits baffled after seeing where Adam Sandler was recorded playing basketball

Brits have been left well and truly baffled after a video of Adam Sandler shooting some hoops went viral.

The actor is known for his love of basketball, so it wasn't exactly unusual to see him having a game.

It was more a case of where he was spotted.

See, spotting a celeb in the likes of Los Angeles or New York isn't so unusual - it's their home turf after all.

But you can imagine one lad's shock when he turned up to play basketball in Kensington Leisure Centre - only to see Adam Sandler out on the court.

Yep, that Adam Sandler.

The very same Adam Sandler who has appeared in beloved comedy flicks like Little Nicky, Happy Gilmore and Grown Ups.

TikToker Cacherel shared the news on his TikTok, filming himself as he sat beside a basketball court.

He said: "I'm in West London. I pulled up to my local basketball court and look!"

Flipping the camera round, he showed Sandler out on the court, running alongside other players.

Cacherel remarked: "Bro [...] that's Adam Sandler! Look bro! You think I'm messing?

"I ain't playing! The man's in the ends in London. Kensington Leisure Centre!"

Notably, Sandler was wearing a Hawaiian shirt and jeans.

I'm no basketball expert but that doesn't strike me as the right attire.

Then again, I've not held a basketball since I was fourteen, so who am I to comment?

Sandler's unexpected appearance left Brits in shock, and many took to the comments section to react.

One viewer wrote: "Adam Sandler at Kensington Leisure Centre. Ik [I know] he loves basketball and pick up games but u can’t convince me we aren't in a simulation."

Another commented: "He's actually so funny, because what kind of side quest?"

"This is so random, nobody would have believed you if you didn't have the video," a fellow commenter wrote.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel! Live!, Sandler opened up about fitting the sport into his busy schedule.

Sandler said: "I like playing basketball.

"I know where parks are.

"If I'm shooting in a particular state or city, I'll ask around 'Where's some good games?' and then I go and show up."

A man of his word.

Sandler certainly appears to be working hard enough to allow him time to take it easy and unwind with b-ball.

It was recently announced that he was the highest paid actor in Hollywood last year, with earnings of $73 million.

This put him out ahead of other A-listers, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie and Tom Cruise.
