Adam Sandler has debunked a viral TikTok video about him and his daughter, Sadie, saying 'not a word of it is true'.
Sandler, 59, was speaking to PEOPLE at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival earlier this week when he decided to address something he had seen online.
Calling it a 'dumb thing', he revealed that there was a viral video doing the rounds online and clarified that it's 'not real'.
Sandler explained: "By the way, there's something on the internet talking about that dumb thing.

"I've been hearing about this thing and I saw it, and it's just insane."
Sandler seems to be talking about a video circulating on TikTok in which he is reportedly discussing a retail worker in Beverly Hills telling Sadie she 'wasn't allowed to touch' certain pieces in the store.

In response to the staff member's rudeness, the clip claims that Sandler instead bought $312,000 (£229,000) worth of bags from the store.
"It's just this made-up, weird thing that people ask me about," Sandler said. "And I'm just like, 'I've never heard of this in my life.' That story was 100 percent insane and made-up, and not a word of it is true.
"That was one of the weirdest, dumbest, 100% made up things. It was very odd.
"I don't know how that happens."
Sandler did touch on one story he had heard about himself that is true, however.

Discussing a New York Post report that said he had ordered 'a bunch of Double-Doubles' at In-N-Out Burger late one evening, he said: "I have to say, that story is true.
"So that one's true. The other one's pathetic."
Sandler was seen dressed down in shorts and a hoodie as he ordered the food, attracting quite a few double takes from other restaurant-goers.
Sandler made the comments while being honoured at the film festival with the Maltin Modern Master Award.
It came after news that Happy Gilmore 2 was the most-watched live-action movie in 2025, totalling 7.1 billion minutes streamed.

Sandler, 59, is dad to daughters Sadie, 19 and Sunny, 17, whom he shares with wife Jackie Sandler.
Back in January, Sandler reflected on what his life would be like had he not become an actor, and instead taken up his dad's offer of working with him as an electrical engineer.
"I sometimes think about it, [if] I didn't click that year and I did go work for my dad, what my life would be right now," he said at the Palm Springs International Film Festival.
"First off, I'm thinking I'd probably still be married to my wife, Jackie. That's destiny. Nothing stops that.
"But we definitely [would] have a different house. Probably, like, 10 less bathrooms and [fewer] statues of me."
