Ed Sheeran crashes wedding and performs track leaving bride and groom speechless
A bride and groom were left speechless when the most unlikely guest showed up at their wedding - Mr Ed Sheeran to be exact.
The English singer-songwriter, 32, who is currently embarking on a world tour, somehow found the time to make the newly married couple’s dreams become a reality by gatecrashing their ceremony.
But he didn’t show up to grab a slice of wedding cake or to raid the food, he actually serenaded them with a song from his new album.

The ‘Thinking Out Loud’ singer and his crew of singers ventured into the A Little White Chapel, a small church in Las Vegas which is famous for its Elvis Presley-themed weddings for an extra special performance.
The bride and groom were visibly shocked upon seeing the four-time Grammy winner with his guitar singing a love ballad just for them.
The track - ‘Magical’ - serves as the opening song on his yet-to-be-released seventh album Autumn Variations.
“Is this how it feels, to be in love? This is magical,” the dad-of-two sang while strumming the chords on his guitar.
After singing for the couple, the room erupted into applause as Sheeran hugged them both. In the clip shared by Sheeran on Instagram, we also see the pair officially pronounced husband and wife.
“Crashed a wedding, this is Magical,” Sheeran captioned the post to further promote his new song.
Sheeran has established quite the reputation for being a wedding crasher in recent years, having made an impromptu appearance at a wedding in Australia back in 2015.
Still, his fans are absolutely besotted with the video and took to the comments to praise the singer for having the ‘purest soul’ and creating ‘total joy’.
“This is amazing… the GROOM looked like HE wanted to cry,” one fan observed after watching the clip.
“You’re such a good person with a big heart,” another fan gushed in the Instagram comments.
“He is the absolute purest soul,” a third supporter penned.
While a fourth said: “I’d marry anyone just to have this.”
Someone else commented: “Total joy, love this magical moment, what a memory for the newlyweds and guests.”
And it’s not just weddings that the chart-topping star has crashed recently.
Back in July, he made a surprise appearance at The Wieners Circle - the Chicago hot dog stand known for swearing at customers - and he absolutely loved it.
Earlier that month he shocked patrons at a karaoke bar in Nashville by handing out drinks and singing ‘I Want it That Way’ by the Backstreet Boys to a newlywed couple.
If there’s one thing we know about him, it’s that he loves weddings and surprises.
