Terence Crawford walked to the ring in style ahead of his fight against Errol Spence Jr last night, bringing out Eminem with him to the tune of his hit ‘Lose Yourself’.

It’s been described as one of the best ring walks that fans have ever seen, and it definitely created an atmosphere in the arena in Las Vegas ahead of the bout.

In fact, some have credited it with aiding Crawford’s performance, as he knocked out his great rival Spence in the ninth round after previously sending him to the canvas three times.

35-year-old Crawford became the first man to win undisputed titles in two weight classes, taking his previously unbeaten opponent’s belts off him.

Many people believe that it was the ring walk that proved the catalyst for Crawford’s destructive victory, with one person commenting: “It was over the second this happened.”

Eminem gave Terence Crawford a rapturous introduction to the arena.

Another said: “How can you lose after that walk out?”

And a third called it the ‘greatest ring walk ever’.

The whole idea came about after Crawford posted a video showing him and his trainer Shakur Stevenson talking about who his dream ring walk accompaniment would be.

Crawford said: “You know what I was thinking would be crazy s**t?

“I think it would be dope to have Eminem walk me out or something like that. He's never walked nobody out, huh?"

Stevenson then responded: "I ain't gonna lie, Eminem's a GOAT. I ain't never seen him walking nobody out in a boxing ring."

Eminem then saw that video and shared his thoughts, writing: “This is 2 crazy.!!! You r 1 of my favorite boxers rn!”

Crawford then told the Detroit rapper to ‘pull up’ so that they could do some ‘legendary s***’.

That seems to have been what they achieved, in the end.

Crawford was already thought of as one of the world’s best boxers, but after extending his unbeaten record to 40 fights – winning 31 by knockout – he has pretty well cemented that claim.

The pair had expressed admiration for each other on Twitter before the fight.

Speaking after the fight, Crawford said: "I'm an overachiever, nobody believed in me when I was coming up.”

Of his opponent, he said: "It means everything because of who I took the belts from.”

He added: "They talk bad about me and I kept praying to God I would get the opportunity to show the world how great I am. And tonight, I believe I showed how great I am."

In the contracts signed before the fight, there was a rematch clause, which Spence can now choose to activate if he wants, and Crawford seemed open to taking the 33-year-old on again.

"Of course the public will buy it,” he said.

"If the fight happens again, I'm pretty sure everyone will come out and show support for us."
