Hilarious moment Jeremy Clarkson leaves Kaleb hanging as Clarkson's Farm wins at the National Television Awards

Jeremy Clarkson left his pal and Clarkson’s Farm co-star Kaleb Cooper hanging after the reality show won at the National Television Awards.

Clarkson’s Farm scooped the gong for reality docuseries prize at the tonight’s award’s ceremony facing off against At Home With The Furys, Fletchers’ Family Farm, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing and Stacey & Joe.

After the winning show was announced, the camera cut to Clarkson who sat beside his long-term girlfriend Lisa Hogan and some of his co-stars, including Cooper.

An absolutely beaming Clarkson got out of his seat and headed up towards the stage, while Cooper clearly wanted to mark the moment with a high-five.

His upraised hand went completely unnoticed by Clarkson who walked off with a smile on his face.

The slightly awkward moment was quickly shared on X, with one fan writing: “Jeremy Clarkson you left Kaleb hanging there, mate.”

Someone else commented: “Left Kaleb hanging there Jeremy Clarkson. Poor sod.”

Up on stage, Clarkson was given his award by the new hosts of his former show The Grand Tour – Francis Bourgeois, James Engelsman and Thomas Holland.

And when it came to his acceptance speech, Clarkson could teach Hollywood A-listers a thing and two and opted to keep it short and sweet.

Clarkson said: “Crikey. Some lovely programmes in that category.

“I’ve just discovered Paris Fury is from Doncaster like I am.

“I don’t want to drone on forever, on behalf of everyone who makes this amazing show, thank you.”

The prize will likely give Clarkson a bit of a much-needed boost after he recently revealed that 11 of his beloved Easycare sheep had been stolen from his Diddly Squat farm.

Last week, the 66-year-old revealed that police had launched an investigation after more than £2,000 worth of his sheep had been pinched from his Oxfordshire farm.

Speaking to The Sun, Clarkson said: “The police have been very good, actually.

“Once you go through 700 hours of recorded messages, I got through to a girl.

“I said, ‘I know it’s going to sound like I’m from 1856, but I’ve had some sheep stolen’.

“She went through the name and address and then she said, ‘oh, not your Easycares’. She’s obviously been watching the show, but it is the Easycares.”

Clarkson also warned: “It’s a farm. We’re armed. Just so they know.

“It p****s me off. Honestly, it just p****s me off.”

Clarkson said he first realised the sheep had vanished when he went to do a count of his flock with Cooper.

The TV personality reckons the thieves must have acted in the night or during a day when there was no filming at the farm.

Asked whether he believed the show had made his farm a target, Clarkson said: “It’s more likely to make you a target than less, but I still don’t think they’ve been stolen because they’re on Diddly Squat.

“How can you (stop it) if someone’s determined to steal your livestock?

“This is 1,000 acres, it’s a big farm. Anyone could be anywhere and you wouldn’t know.”
