TikTok couple Dakota Harper and Felicity Eatmon charged with arson

A couple known for their tumultuous relationship on TikTok are facing felony arson charges.

Dakota Harper, 21, who has dwarfism, and Felicity Eatmon, 22, from Kanawha County, West Virginia, were arrested two days after a house in Charleston was set on fire on 27 September.

The pair, who have been charged with conspiracy to commit arson and first-degree arson, have around 26,700 followers on TikTok by posting about their unconventional day-to-day lives and their relationship, as well as periods of homelessness.

The fire broke out in a vacant, utility-free abandoned house in the 400 block of Maryland Avenue on Charleston's West Side at around 11:15 pm on 27 September 2026.

It smoldered into the morning hours and caused over $10,000 in damage to the neighboring Canaan United Methodist Church.

According to the fire marshal’s office, CCTV footage observed during the investigation showed the pair together in an alleyway next to 405 Maryland Avenue immediately before the fire.

The complaint states that footage shows Eatmon providing Harper with ‘what appears to be a piece of paper’.

They are then ‘observed using a handheld ignition source’ to ‘produce an open flame and ignite the paper’.

Around 30 seconds later, Harper and Eatmon approach the side-door area, and Eatmon enters the structure and is seen ‘reaching into the interior of the residence for an unknown reason’.

The fire marshal’s office said Eatmon waited near the doorway for two to three minutes, while Harper is also visible on surveillance footage.

Surveillance footage then shows ‘light and/or flames reflecting from within the doorway’, and Eatmon left the doorway to travel through an alleyway.

Harper and Eatmon are each being held on $10,000 bond in the South Central Regional Jail.
