Denise Richards’ surgeon shares new images ‘without filter’ following facelift

Those who have been bewitched by images documenting Denise Richards' transformation will be glad to know her plastic surgeon has shared some more.

People have been unable to take their eyes off of the incredible before-and-after photos that show the extraordinary difference in the actress' appearance following her facelift eight months ago.

Dr Ben Talei, who worked his magic on Richards as well as a host of other famous faces, has now treated us to some more snaps.

The Beverly Hills-based appears to have the Midas Touch when it comes to plastic surgery, as his roster of celebrity clients all leave his clinic looking like they've dunked their head in the fountain of youth.

He previously performed a facelift on Australian singer Sia - who notoriously hid her face with a wig - and she was left over the moon with her 'amazing' results.

While presenting Dr Talei with the gong for Outstanding Achievement in Medicine at the Daytime Beauty Awards in 2023, she said: "He is incredible. And he is doing so much good work - and not just for the pop stars of the world.

"I was showing someone in the back my before-and-afters right before I came on. People go, 'You look nice'. I'm like, 'Dr. Ben Talei, facelift!' For like anything you could ever want. I love him, I can't say enough good about him."

Dr Talei's catalogue of extraordinary before-and-after images which chronicle his work are exactly what convinced Richards to take the plunge and get a facelift, despite her 'always saying she would never' undergo the procedure.

Speaking to Allure, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star said that while visiting another doctor who shares the same office as the plastic surgeon, she saw some of his comparison photos.

"I loved how the patients looked like themselves, but just refreshed," Richards said. "So, it started with that.

"Dr Ben started showing me what he could do - he’s like, ‘Tiny here, tiny there'," the mother-of-three explained. "It was a lot of little things…he wanted to do the whole face and not just my neck.

"I was so scared to do that, but I thought, 'Well, if you're going to refurbish a painting, you don't do half a painting'. So I looked at it from that perspective, and I thought, 'Yeah, it might look weird that my neck looks good, but then it doesn't match the rest'. So I just said to Dr. Ben, ‘I know I'm in good hands. Do your thing'. And when I saw the before pictures he took, I was like, ‘Yeah, no - I do need a facelift'."

Fans reckon that Richards looks like she's taken a trip in a time machine rather than lying on Dr Talei's operating table for a few hours, as her results look so good.

In his first Instagram post sharing snaps of her surgical makeover, the celebrity plastic surgeon explained how his tweaks helped 'restore' Richards' beauty, while 'neutralising and reversing' the effects of the hands of time.

"I’m so grateful to Denise for being so open about the procedure," he said in the caption. "She’s been through so much this past year and her resilience is just astounding. She has a golden heart and her golden face is hers again."

In another social media post, Dr Talei shared more before-and-after pictures of Wild Things star Richards, 55, to show how 'insanely stunning' she now looks.

Explaining the difference between these shots and the official images he shared, the medic said: "These show just how much better photos and filming look without any filters.

"These are just a few screenshots before and after the [eyes and brow lift] done, along with a Cupid corner lift."

Dr Talei also revealed that Richards had undergone a PHAT (Platelet Hybridized Adipose Transplant) Skin treatment.

This involves injecting a combination of the patient's own fat tissue and platelet-rich plasma into the skin to improve its texture and appearance.

According to a study published in the Chinese Medical Journal in 2022, this can 'slow or even reverse physiological and pathological aging'.

So if you're in the market for a facelift that will leave you feeling like Benjamin Button, it seems like Dr Ben Talei is the man to go and see - if you're bank balance allows it, of course.

A host of stars confessed they would be elbowing people out of the way to gain a spot on the surgeon's client list in the comment section of his posts, such as Dancing with the Stars alum Sharna Burgess who wrote: "Me next?"

TV star Faye Resnick commented: "Ben, she looks so beautiful. I was telling Denise that she looks like she did 20 years ago! So proud of you."

Richards' fellow 'Real Housewife' Kyle Richards added: "So good," while her sister Kathy Hilton left an array of flame emojis under the before-and-after post.
