Despite being behind bars, Sean 'Diddy' Combs apparently still hasn't forgotten that it's the season of gift giving.

The disgraced music mogul is alleged to have sent his famous foe 50 Cent a strange present in wake of the release of his damning Netflix documentary.

On Tuesday (2 December), Sean Combs: The Reckoning landed on the streaming platform, which 50 Cent acted as executive producer on - and it's currently topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.

It delves into the dramatic rise and fall of Comb's once-illustrious career, alleged shady goings on in his Bad Boy empire and the slew of shocking allegations levied against him.

The 56-year-old rapper is currently locked up at Fort Dix prison in New Jersey, a place he is set to call home until May 2028, according to reports.

Combs was found guilty of two counts of 'transportation to engage in prostitution' in July this year, although a jury in New York acquitted him of the more serious charges he faced - racketeering and sex‑trafficking - allowing him to dodge the possibility of being slapped with a life sentence.

Before, during and after the shocking eight-week trial which captured the attention of the world, 50 Cent was providing something of a running commentary on Diddy's downfall.

As well as sharing his reaction to his name being brought up during court proceedings, he issued a scathing warning to Combs' legal team - while sharing a few baby oil related memes on social media, too.

50, real name Curtis Jackson, then announced he would be producing a documentary that examines the skeletons in Diddy's closet.

The Get Rich or Die Tryin' star told GQ that he was inspired to make the four-part series because he didn't want people to assume his silence meant that 'everybody in hip-hop is okay with what's going on'.

He explained: "[Other rappers] will say, 'I ain't going to say nothing. I'm going to mind my business', because of a position that [Diddy] held in culture for so long.

"So [that] would leave me. Without me saying that I will do it, there's nobody there."

50 also insisted that he didn't have any kind of agenda when getting involved in the creation of Sean Combs: The Reckoning, saying: "If it was, I would've focused on the fact that you're the only man in jail for transporting male sex workers."

Upon it's release earlier this week, Combs' camp lambasted the documentary as 'a shameful hit piece' and alleged that 'Netflix relied on stolen footage that was never authorised for release'.

Part of a statement shared by his spokesman also read: "It is equally staggering that Netflix handed creative control to Curtis ‘50 Cent’ Jackson - a longtime adversary with a personal vendetta who has spent too much time slandering Mr. Combs."

Which only makes it all the more bizarre that Combs' supposedly had a bouquet of flowers sent to 50 Cent while he was performing at a club in Miami on Thursday night (4 December).

He shared a snap of the vibrant arrangement in an Instagram post on Friday (5 December) alongside the caption: "What kinda g*y s**t is this Diddy send me flowers at club 11 LOL.

"Why all the four play get busy, you know I’m stupid."

In the comment section, 50 then added: "A warning, I’m 90’s grimy. You don’t warn me. LOL."

It seems that Jackson has taken the gesture as some kind of threat rather than an olive branch, as did a lot of social media users.

One person commented: "Its probably a sign that 'I can send whatever I want to you at anytime'. That is scary fr!"

Another said: "If this real, he trying to tell you he know where you at."

While a third added: "Sending you funeral flowers when you’re already in prison is insane."
