Drake and the 'goth baddie' is the unexpected love story of the summer, but what did she look like before donning the make-up?
The God's Plan rapper certainly looked delighted with what the diety had in store for him over the weekend when he took part in a YouTube challenge called '20 v 1 dating.'
That saw 20 women come out and stake their case to Drake, who had to whittle them down to a final three.
There were some big names involved, too, with British content creator Lily Phillips making an appearance but failing to catch Drake's eye.

Instead, he picked Jordyn Lucas, Lena the Plug and the 'goth baddie', known as Pinkchyu, real name Lin Lamar.
Drake previously revealed in a 2025 interview with Bobbi Althoff that his dream girl is a woman ‘tweaked out, like goth, kind of like tatted all over' and Pinkchyu literally had him going barking mad.
When she asked the most-streamed rapper in history if he'd bark for her, he happily obliged and was called a 'good boy' for his troubles.

Pinkchyu used to look a lot different
Pinkchyu appeared on the NELK Kick stream on Saturday, August 8, sporting pale goth makeup paired with black lipstick and eyeliner as well as a black spandex dress and a spiked choker.
However, images of her before she became a popular content creator and cosplayer, as well as making Drake's dreams come true, have resurfaced online and she looks a whole lot different.

One image shows Pinkchyu still wearing a black choker but without the spikes. She's also got rosy cheeks and pink lips, with curly dark hair instead of the straight, jet-black style she now wears.
A second image shows her with a more natural skin tone, plain lips, faded eyeliner and even streaks of orange dyed into her dark hair.
However, she is wearing a a shirt with the grim reaper and gothic writing blazed across it, in keeping with the heavy metal vibe.

What Pinkchyu said after being picked by Drake
After making it to the final three, Drake promised Pinkchyu that he would buy her mother a house as a present.
“Oh yeah, I’d love to,” he replied to the request.
Explaining why he chose her, Drake said: "You're just like intriguing and you're from Texas and you have fangs.
"I just feel like I could learn new things. We're like opposites, but I feel opposites attract."
Pinkchyu added: "I could teach you a lot of things."

Speaking out for the first time since going viral on social media, she wrote in the caption of a video on Instagram: "I think I broke Drake lol."
In another post on her encounter with Drake, she wrote: "I can’t believe how far I’ve come in the past few years. Posting content with alternative music I wasn’t sure anyone else would enjoy, to seeing a generation celebrating goth culture."
Pinkchyu creates content about what goth girls do during the day and enjoys cosplaying as characters like Team Rocket from Pokémon and Frieren.
