Drew Barrymore admits to making a 'sex list' and accidentally leaving it a Danny DeVito's house

Drew Barrymore admits to making a 'sex list' and accidentally leaving it a Danny DeVito's house

Drew Barrymore had a pretty awkward experience with Danny DeVito

For some of us, adding up who we've slept with can be as simple as adding on our fingers. For others it's a little bit more...complex.

A recent trend is for people to have comprehensive 'sex lists' on their phones, meaning you write down everyone you've ever slept with.

However, this could prove awkward if it ever gets into the wrong hands, and for Drew Barrymore, that nightmare came true.

Drew Barrymore, who's best known for her roles in films such as Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed and The Wedding Singer, didn't quite make her list on her phone but her full sexual encounters list was written and unfortunately misplaced.

Speaking on The Drew Barrymore Show, she revealed to her fellow TV panel about her mistake. Confessing to Tony Dokoupil, Ross Matthews, Nate Burleson and Vladimir Duthiers, Barrymore explained: "I made a list. It was back in the day. I did it with paper and pen.

"I’m the most disorganized person, I lose everything…I left it at someone’s house."

She added that she left her list at a famous actor and director's home as she continued: "I was producing a film that Danny DeVito was directing. I wrote the list on the back of a set of notes for the film. So I left it at Danny DeVito’s house."

Luckily for Barrymore, the list didn't give away why the names were on the list or reveal their sexual connection.

However, Barrymore did later admit to DeVito what the list was: "I did admit it to (DeVito), he came on the show and I was like: 'I left my sex list at your house.'"

DeVito has poked fun at the 50 First Dates star for her mistake during his 2022 skit on the talk show where he joked: "As a matter of fact, I’ve been meaning to talk to you about this. Some of the names on that…I made a copy of it and it’s gonna be in my autobiography."

However, he did reassure Barrymore that he won't be spilling the names rom the list any time soon as he added: "I never saw it, your secret’s safe with me."

As Barrymore reflected on her sex list faux pas in the most recent episode, her co-panellist, Nate Burleson, joked that she is 'way too honest' for confessing about her sex life.

However, not everyone is up for making a list of everyone they've gotten down and dirty with, as Ross Matthews revealed he couldn't get on board with the idea.

"Lists are for groceries. I don’t want to know mine," he explained. "I don’t want to know yours... I kind of want to know Drew’s."

Barrymore quipped: "Just call Danny DeVito. He’ll tell you."

Barrymore has been publicly single since she split from art consultant Will Kopelman in 2016, after three years of marriage.

Before Kopelman, she was previously married to Tom Green from 2001 until 2002 and Jeremy Thomas from 1994 until 1995.
