Gordon Ramsay couldn't resist including a brutal gag about Adam Peaty's family in his father of the bride speech, according to reports.
The celebrity chef, 59, is said to have addressed the elephant in the room while congratulating the happy couple on their nuptials on Saturday (27 December).
Olympic gold medallist Peaty got hitched to Ramsay's daughter Holly in Bath over the weekend, but a lot of his family members weren't on the guest list. Although his sister Bethany was included in the bridal party, the rest of his relatives were absent amid an ongoing family feud.
Peaty's mother Caroline has claimed that she was shunned from her new daughter-in-law's hen do, while saying that the newly weds have 'cut her heart out'. She said the family fallout has left her 'so hurt', while revealing that she had a 'hurtful' text exchange with her swimmer son ahead of his nuptials.

Around 200 guests attended the star-studded wedding bash on Saturday, while Peaty's parents stayed at home in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire.
And while giving a speech in wake of the couple saying their vows, Ramsay reportedly made a dig at his son-in-law's mother and father. According to The Sun, the father-of-six described Peaty as a 'lucky man' while complimenting Holly on how beautiful she looked.
"Look at Tana and that’s what you have to look forward to," Ramsay is said to have added, in reference to his wife of nearly 30 years.
In what was apparently a wisecrack about Peaty's parents, the renowned restaurateur is then alleged to have added: "Shame you don’t have the same."
I don't know about you, but I can't help but wonder what reception that eye-popping taunt got from guests such as David and Victoria Beckham.
It was also reported that Peaty touched on the impact his family feud has had on him during his speech at his wedding reception.

Paying tribute to his swim coach Mel Marshall, the 31-year-old groom praised her for 'grounding and inspiring' him - before reportedly saying that she was 'like a mum' to him.
A source told The Sun that he and Holly had a 'peaceful, joyous day' despite currently being at odds with the Peaty family.
"The ceremony was magical and the reception very emotional, there were a lot of tears," the insider claimed.
"Gordon made an amazing speech that had everyone laughing and crying.
"None of the outside noise overshadowed what was an occasion filled with heartfelt joy and happiness for two people who are very much in love."
Peaty's brother, James, is also said to have made a sly dig amid the ongoing argument with his brother - as he shared a snap to social media which people think had a 'hidden meaning'.
