A Harry Potter star was hospitalised and ended up having to go under the knife in emergency surgery after being left unable to breathe.
The Harry Potter films have inspired a generation of young adults, and anticipation is building ahead of the new HBO series covering J.K. Rowling's beloved books, with the likes of Albus Dumbledore, Rubeus Hagrid and Severus Snape already cast.
There has long been a debate among fans as to whether Hermione should have ended up with Ron or Harry, especially as Emma Watson and Rupert Grint have both previously revealed that they were dreading their famous kiss scene in the final film.

However, Ron wasn't the only boy that caught Hermione's eye in the series, as in The Goblet of Fire, she attended the ball with Viktor Krum, who was portrayed by Stanislav Yanevski.
It was the Bulgarian-born actor's first acting role and he has gone on to feature in several other films and series, most recently in 2021's Last Man Down.

He also leads a very active lifestyle and shares videos of himself on Instagram, which is where fans were informed of his recent health episode, which occurred shortly after his 40th birthday.
“I was taken into surgery and the photo was taken right after I had come out of the surgical room,” Yanevski said in a social media post, which also featured an image of him in a hospital bed with a bandage around his nose.

He added: “As always and those who know me closer, I went through this in silence as I didn’t want to scare or worry anybody. I’ve always been this way. I fight through struggles in quiet. Of course I had support from the few I had told and my family for which I’m very thankful."

Although he didn't specify his diagnosis, he suggested that he is recovering well and doctors are 'surprised' about his progress.
“I had a checkup with my doctor today and he said that I’m recovering really well and was actually quite surprised with my progress.
"I guess all the healthy diets, training and self control and belief help in such cases.

“I will be able to breathe freely, experience all scents of life, which was something I had lost over the past months. I will be able to sleep without struggles, recover properly with peaceful sleep and be at my full powers very soon.”
The actor, like many others in the business, has also found work in the form of Cameo, which lets people request messages from the stars of the screen and elsewhere, something we have seen The Inbetweeners star James Buckley find huge success with.
Yanevski added: “I still have a few pieces planted in my nose, so I’m not able to talk freely, so please have some patience with Cameo – I stopped it, so I’m not available for bookings until I can talk properly again.”
