If there's one question on anyone's minds after the big reveal of Heidi Klum's Halloween costume last night, it's probably wondering how on earth she went to the bathroom in it.
The model, who celebrated 25 years hosting her huge Halloween extravaganza in New York, became her own giant, gruesome severed hand.
With only her eyes and mouth showing, Klum had blood dripping from her mouth as she stuck her tongue out.
The top of the hand ended in a graphic assortment of dangling ligaments as she posed with helpers in hazmat suits.

But standing upright on five towering fingers while encased in an internal fibreglass skeleton is no mean feat.

The 53-year-old supermodel had to shuffle sideways along the red carpet with her entourage as she was completely sealed inside her costume.
She revealed how it took about five to six hours to get into her hand costume this year, but making it took a lot longer.
However the reality behind the multi-hour practical FX suit is actually very unglamorous, including how to go to the bathroom when duty calls.
Sharing a story on Instagram before the Halloween event, Klum simply held up a nude-coloured nappy and is heard saying: "It's diaper time!".

The custom prosthetic rig, created by Oscar-nominated FX master Mike Marino, obviously can't just be quickly unzipped and taken off.
And so in the hilarious post, Klum simply reveals how that bathroom prep is actually built directly into the costume fitting.
The supermodel has been open about the use of nappies previously, and told of how she wore one under her E.T. costume in 2024 and earthworm in 2022.
This is because the complex prosthetics and full-body designs make using the restroom impossible once she is sealed in for the evening.
“Maybe I never need to use the diaper, but at least that way I don’t have to think about it," she previously told the New York Times.
Meanwhile, users on social media also noted that it would be virtually impossible for Klum to make a quick trip to the bathroom.
"Imagine spending six hours getting dressed, only to realise you need to use the bathroom," one person quipped.
Earlier this year, Klum joked about not being able to use the bathroom in her Met Gala look, appearing in a dramatic ensemble inspired by Raffaelle Monti's Veiled Vestal sculpture.

She had been covered head to toe in white to emulate the foam and latex texture of a marble statue, admitting: "I was like, 'Wow, this is so beautiful,' the drape, and it's all on marble.
"But how can you make that with fabric? Because I look hard but I'm soft ... I can sit, I can eat. I can do anything," followed by a social media caption reading: "Thinking about the fact that statues don't get bathroom breaks."
