They say laughter is the best medicine and that certainly seems to be the case for Isla Fisher in the wake of her divorce from Sacha Baron Cohen.
The former couple had their union dissolved last year, and the divorce has now been finalised, and to mark the occasion Isla has shared a pointed post on her social media seemingly aimed at the Borat star.
The actors had been seen attending Wimbledon separately, and it seems there’s no love lost between the two.
News of their divorce first broke last year, in a typically unconventional way.

They shared a photo clad in tennis whites, and captioned it: "After a long tennis match lasting over 20 years, we are finally putting our racquets down.
"In 2023 we jointly filed to end our marriage. We have always prioritized our privacy and have been quietly working through this change. We forever share in our devotion and love for our children. We sincerely appreciate your respecting our family's wish for privacy."
And now the Now You See Me star has shared a post on her Instagram story, making a dig about marriage.

She shared a quote reading: “For all the men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you. Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage. Why? Because women realize it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage."

The joke comes after she shared a screenshot of Daily Mail article about their appearances at Wimbledon, as she tagged her ex-husband and wrote: "Hang on? Who's watching the kids?”
They married after nine years together, and share three children together.
In June of this year they confirmed that the divorce had been finalised and that they will be moving forward in life co-parenting their children.

"Our divorce has now been finalized. We are proud of all we've achieved together and, continuing our great respect for each other, we remain friends and committed to co-parenting our wonderful children," they wrote. "We ask for the media to continue to respect our children's privacy."

She previously told The Times that the divorce was ‘the most difficult thing I've been through’.
"I've learnt so much about myself in the process, I never imagined my family being separated but we are committed and loving parents."
"Kids are the most important thing and you want them to really feel safe and loved," she explained.
"We are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible," Isla insisted.

She praised the female friends and family around her too: "The women in my life have held me…the female relationships that I cultivated in our business, those women have been there for me. I'm actually going to get emotional.
"I'm sitting here today because of them. I've learnt so much about the power of female friendship and I've just learnt that I do have resilience, who I am outside of a partnership and what my values are. It's been this expansive learning curve."
Their divorce announcement came weeks after Rebel Wilson shared accusations of bullying against the actor, after referring to an a*****e in her book.
