Sacha Baron Cohen has been full of praise for his ex-wife, Isla Fisher, as he posted a birthday message about her.
They had been in a relationship for over 20 years and had been married since 2010 before making a strangely styled announcement in 2024, where they were both dressed in tennis gear as they announced they had jointly filed for divorce the previous year.
Releasing a joint statement saying they had ended 'a long tennis match lasting over twenty years', the former couple said they remained 'friends' and were 'committed to co-parenting' their three children.
Things appear to have stayed amicable between them as Baron Cohen posted a message for Fisher's 50th birthday, which is today (3 February), where he found plenty of words of praise.

He said: "Happy birthday to the funniest, most joyful person, a brilliant talent, and a fantastic mum. May the next decade be even better."

While on the press tour for the latest Now You See Me movie, Fisher said separating had been a 'different grief', telling New Beauty magazine it had been a 'really challenging time'.
She said: "I definitely feel like there’s something about the divorce club that anyone in it understands in a way other people don’t. It’s a different grief.
"I feel like creating a new identity after your divorce is so fun, though. You get to reflect on your values and goals, explore new interests, focus on what you want and rebuild your sense of self."
Fisher also told ELLE Decoration she'd had 'a bit of a cry' when her first pieces of furniture had arrived in her new home, as it was her 'first time as a single woman, being in a home of my own'.
She later told The Times the divorce was 'the most difficult thing that I’ve been through', but she said she and Baron Cohen remained 'committed and loving parents' throughout it.

The actor said she wanted to use her own parents 'very harmonious' divorce as a model to follow.
"Kids are the most important thing, and you want them to really feel safe and loved," she said of her parenting goals. "We are building a new, healthy version of what our family looks like and putting as much care and love into it as possible."
However, she did, at some point, share a message about why more women were against marriage.
Posting in her Instagram Stories last year, she shared the following message: "For all the men who say, 'Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?' Here's an update for you. Nowadays, 80% of women are against marriage.
"Why? Because women realise it's not worth buying an entire pig just to get a little sausage."
