Jack Whitehall and girlfriend Roxy Horner share name of their first child
Jack Whitehall has shared the name of his first firstborn baby.
The Bad Education star became a dad at the beginning of the month after welcoming his first child with girlfriend Roxy Horner.
Sharing a selfie of him and Horner in hospital as the model cradled their newborn tot, Whitehall penned to Instagram on 6 September: "Well this just happened! Utterly overwhelming and joyous in ways I couldn’t have even imagined.
"In awe of my partner @roxyhorner who has been amazing throughout this journey and is going to be the greatest mum ever.

"So excited to have started a family of my own. Having vowed I’d never be that guy I am now 100% going to be the parent that shows everyone endless pictures of their kid. I also wore skechers to hospital, I think I must accept I am a full blown dad now."
Teasing about the baby's name, the actor added: "Name wise after this weekend I think ‘rice, rice, baby’ has a nice ring to it."
His Jungle Cruise co-star Dwayne Johnson also joined in on the fun and shared his own name suggestion.
"Rock, DJ, Dwayne or Dwanette... all amazing names!" he joked before sharing his congrats with the new parents.
But now the baby's real name has been revealed, and it's super sweet.
Confirming that Horner and Whitehall welcomed a baby girl, a source told The Sun that the two celebrities have named her Elsie.
Apparently they took their time on decided what to name their daughter.
"Elsie is a gorgeous baby and Jack and Roxy have picked a gorgeous name to fit. Everyone is thrilled," the source shared.
The cute name means 'pledged to God' and is of Scottish and English origin.
LADbible have contacted Whitehall's agent for comment.
'Elsie' has seen a surge in popularity in recent years and, as of last year, ranked 11th in the top 20 most popular names.
As expected, Whitehall has already been making jokes about fatherhood - the contents of his daughter's nappy included.
Sharing a photo of him snoozing with a sign reading 'Shhh. I'm sleeply' on it, the 35-year-old wrote: "Can’t believe I’m only two weeks into this.
"Also every morning I see these nappies and think did someone sneak in last night and give my daughter five pints of Guinness and a kebab?"
Elsewhere he's shared a sweet clip of him dancing to Westlife with Elise as, apparently, it's 'the only thing to stop her crying'.
