Jennifer Aniston has hit back at claims she is 'selfish' and a 'workaholic' for not having children.
The Friends star has been the subject of relentless speculation regarding whether or not she was planning to have children over the years, even claiming it caused her marriage to Brad Pitt to fall apart.
This prompted Aniston to reveal that she'd spent two decades attempting to have a child in a 2022 interview with Allure, saying: "It was really hard. I was going through IVF, drinking Chinese teas, you name it. I was throwing everything at it."
Now The Morning Show actor has again spoken out about how the intrusive comments and lies about her views on motherhood have impacted her over the years, saying 'I’m just a human being'.

Reflecting on the media's treatment of her personal life while speaking to Harper's Bazaar, she said: "They didn’t know my story, or what I’d been going through over the past 20 years to try to pursue a family, because I don’t go out there and tell them my medical woes.
"That’s not anybody’s business. But there comes a point when you can’t not hear it – the narrative about how I won’t have a baby, won’t have a family, because I’m selfish, a workaholic.
"It does affect me – I’m just a human being. We’re all human beings."
The 56-year-old went on to explain how the headlines led to her penning a 2016 op-ed for The Huffington Post on the subject, adding: "I knew a lot of women at the time who were trying to have kids, who were dealing with IVF.

"So it did feel like it was not only for myself, but for any women who were struggling with the same issue."

Aniston also revealed that she has become more resilient to the press as she's gotten older, saying she no longer cares about 'correcting a narrative'.
"Of course, there are times when I feel that sense of justice – when something has been said that isn’t true and I need to right the wrong," she added.
"And then I think, do I really? My family knows my truth, my friends know my truth."
