Jennifer Lopez is scrubbing away all traces of her relationship with Ben Affleck.

Nearly two decades on from their initial split, J-Lo surprised us all by rekindling her romance with the Good Will Hunting actor in 2021, with the couple going on to tie the knot a year later.

However, the couple's take two at a happy ever after was not to last, as Lopez and Affleck ultimately went their separate ways in 2024, finalising their divorce in early 2025.

And just like the rest of us after any break-up, the 'On The Floor' singer is removing all traces of their romance – which includes having a couple's tattoo altered.

In a recent Instagram photodump for Memorial Day, the actor shared a snap of herself embracing her 18-year-old son, Max, with what used to be a 'his and hers' tattoo she got with Affleck visible.

Upon first glance, there doesn't appear to be anything different about the tattoo, which is an infinity sign and arrow design, as the 56-year-old hasn't covered it with a new design or drawn a massive cross over it.

But look closely, and you'll likely notice some subtle alterations which Lopez has made to the ink.

While the original piece had the names 'Jennifer' and 'Ben' written in cursive, the altered design appears to have had this removed. The arrow piercing the infinity symbol also looks to have been removed.

Have a look at a side-by-side with the original one below and see if you can spot the difference:

Lopez unveiled the original design back in 2023 on Valentine's Day, writing on Instagram: "Commitment ♾️ Happy Valentine's Day, my love 🤍."

Affleck also revealed his complementary design, which included two arrows alongside the initials 'J' and 'B'.

It's not currently clear if The Rip actor still has his matching ink.

Why did Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck break up?

Although neither Lopez nor Affleck has shared the exact reason why they decided to call off their romance for good, the 53-year-old actor did allude to the cause of their divorce in a rarely candid interview for GQ last year.

"[There was] no scandal, no soap opera, no intrigue," he told the outlet, before revealing that he would never share the exact reason publicly.

"It feels vulnerable," he added.

Nearly two years on from their separation, neither Lopez nor Affleck has debuted new partners. However, this hasn't stopped the rumour mill, as Lopez was recently forced to deny a romantic entanglement with Office Romance co-star Brett Goldstein.
