If you have an overwhelming fear or disgust of feet, it’s likely that Jessie James Decker experienced your worst-case-scenario.
As a podophobe, being trapped 35,000 feet in the air with an intruding pair of piggies is less than ideal. In a recent clip posted on social media, the ‘Do It in Heels’ singer is faced with a person’s bare foot on her armrest during a flight.
The 38-year-old country star is seen holding her nose, looking visibly shocked in the short clip. With little time to react, Decker gets out a spray bottle and sprays it on the person’s foot.
After spraying the individual’s foot, they immediately pull it away as Decker quietly laughs.

“Before you come at me…What would you have done?” she captioned the post.

Viewers were quick to point out that plane etiquette doesn’t get worse than this, with one person writing: “Tell me this is a joke?! I would have done a whole lot worse!!! Good for you for being so kind lol.”
“Good for you, my drink would have spilled on that foot,” a second wrote.
“This can’t be real please tell me that’s Matt and you personally know that foot or something,” a third penned.
“If they’re comfortable enough to put their dusty feet on my armrest, then well, I’m a spray it too,” a fourth wrote.
Others hoped that the foot belonged to her husband Eric Decker, as another commented: “Girl, I pray this is your husband’s foot.”
Decker did not specify whether it was a stranger’s foot or her husband’s.
Now, another bare-footed plane incident infuriates the internet back in 2021 after a Reddit user shared the moment a person behind them managed to wriggle their feet underneath their chair.

Left fully exposed for all to see, people in the comments felt strongly about ‘sending a message’ to the individual.
One user wote: "Nah, gotta be more passive aggressive about it. Ask the flight attendant for coffee. Make it extra hot. Accidentally spill it all over the feet. Plausible deniability, and as an added bonus maybe the heat will kill some of that toe funk and do em a favour."
A different person said: "Don't just stomp. What you want to do is plant your heel on the toes. And stand up."
While a third added: "Make something very sugary (ask stewardess for 4 packs of sugar, dilute in quarter cup warm water) and pour for that sticking between the toes feeling."
