John Cena is one of the most recognisable names in wrestling, but he will appear in his final WWE match next month.
The 48-year-old has gone on to establish himself as a well-regarded actor, appearing in the likes of The Suicide Squad, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Barbie in recent years.
Most of all, the American has proven himself to be a pretty stand-up guy, whether it's through his incredible charity work, which saw him set the record for granting the most wishes for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, or from his time rescuing stray cats.
Cena's acting career hasn't always been plain sailing, given he had an awkward moment with Amy Schumer after appearing alongside her in Trainwreck, which saw the comedian suggest that Cena was 'actually inside her'.

Probably an intimacy coordinator's worst nightmare...

But, he's clearly a pretty popular man in Hollywood and continues to secure himself acting work, which is perhaps another reason why he will officially step back from WWE in December, following 23 years in the business.
WWE superstars are currently battling in The Last Time is Now Tournament, which will see the winner become Cena's final opponent in his last hurrah in Washington, D.C on 13 December.
Whatever happens to him after WWE, whether it's acting or something else entirely, the wrestler has got enough in the bank to ensure that he will never have to work again.

According to recent reports, Cena has amassed a net worth of around $80 million during his career, and that's only likely to increase, especially as he's still set to reprise his anti-hero role of Peacemaker in a new series of the James Gunn TV show.
Thankfully for those of you who are still wondering about Cena's iconic catchphrase more than two decades on from his WWE debut, he recently revealed the secret meaning behind his 'you can't see me' motto.

He said: “The reason I did [his iconic taunt] is because, while we were making the album to which my theme music is on, my younger brother Sean was always our litmus test.
“He kind of liked the same music, and he would never go to the studio with us, so we'd come home with our tracks and we'd play it for him and he was ruthless man.

“He would never be satisfied with any song. And he heard [Cena’s theme music] The Time is Now, and just did this dance that Tony Yayo did in one of the G Unit videos.”
After copying the dance, which sees him shimmy a hand over his face, he was dared to do it on TV by his brother, and the rest, as they say, is history.
