One of the biggest names to come out of Amazon Prime Video's Clarkson's Farm is the man who helps Jeremy make it all happen.

We're of course on about young farmer Kaleb Cooper, who at 25 has shown maturity beyond his years as he guides Jezza through his first attempt at being an out-and-out farmer.

Having owned a farm since 2008, Clarkson took over the agricultural plot back in 2019 following the retirement of its resident farmer. And through the help of the likes of Cooper, he's made it work while entertaining millions of us along the way through the first two seasons - with the third airing on Friday, 3 May.

Cooper has spoken often about his desire to own his own farm - something which now looks a lot more of a reality through a massive spike in his wealth.

The Chipping Norton native previously spoke about only paying himself 50 pence an hour for the long days farming due to the volatile costs and profit margins associated with the industry - especially when it comes to trying new business ventures in the industry.

Speaking on Ben and Georgie Ainslie's Performance People podcast in 2022, he said: "When I’m working for myself, when I’m feeding my calves in the morning - I bought eight calves, it’s like a little bit of a new business idea that I’m doing, buying calves in and then feed them on milk, which costs me about £200 a calf, then selling them at nine months.

“I'm trying to get a profit and see if it will work.

"I worked it out the other day, do you know how much my hourly rate is, how much I pay myself? 50p an hour.”

And the hourly rate makes it even worse, according to Clarkson, who said of Cooper: "He's a wonderful, wonderful person. The hardest working person I know.

"He doesn't have a day off either. He does 18 hours a day, every day."

Cooper has said his 'one goal in life' is to own his own farm, with it what he wants 'more than anything'.

Well, it's a goal that looks a lot more real that maybe it once did for the young dad-of-two.

Profits are looking tidy for the Cooper household, with cash in the bank almost doubling for two of the businesses he runs.

One of the businesses is Kaleb Cooper Productions Limited, which looks after his television related activities.

The business, set up in July 2021, has seen its end of year endings jump from £122,436 to £242,449.

And another of his ventures, Kaleb Cooper Contracting Limited, has seen profits boom too.

This firm, which deals with more traditional farming matters, has seen its year-on-year cash in the bank increase from £52,067 to £96,387.

The paperwork, which was made public this year via Companies House, shows Cooper has upped his equity across both companies by a whopping £164,333.

Research by startups.co.uk reveals that for pasture land, it costs farmers around £6,744 per acre.

With the average UK farm being 87 hectares, it'd mean the cost for a standard farm would be just north of £1.8 million.

Not there yet, but Cooper is well on his way and we've no doubt he'll make it happen.
