Kanye West's name perhaps doesn't hold the same gravitas as it once did, particularly because he's changed it about three times.
The once-renowned rapper has endured a spectacular fall from grace in recent years because of some hugely controversial acts, which include some incredibly anti-semitic posts online, which included the release of a song called 'Heil Hitler'.
Although he's since apologised for his actions, suggesting they were an 'out-of-body experience' caused by an undiagnosed brain injury and his bipolar disorder, it's fair to assume that many won't have forgiven the 48-year-old.
However, Ye, as he is now professionally known, is now back with a new album, releasing 'Bully' on 28 March, which seems to have seen him return to his more traditional music-making methods.

He worked alongside artists such as Andre 3000 to produce the album, while sampling old hits from the legendary artists such as Stevie Wonder and The Supremes.

Another singer-songwriter who was credited on the new album is James Blake but the 37-year-old has now publicly asked to have his credit removed, and it's seemingly nothing to do with Kanye's previous controversies.
The English singer-songwriter explained that while his original vocal pitching and track construction are on the final version of 'This One Here,' the 'spirit' of his 'actual production is mostly absent'.
Taking to Instagram, he wrote: âMy original version is a completely different production in spirit.
"Happy for the fans but Iâve been asked the producer credits for now, as I donât want to take credit for other peopleâs work and this version isnât what I created with Ye."
Although many were quick to assume that Blake might have had an issue with Kanye, he obviously worked alongside the musician in the first place, and it seems as if his request is more of a clash of musical styles.
âItâs not personal!â he added. âI just hit a point where [I] donât want to be credited on music where I canât affect the end result.â

Many had also assumed that West's wife Bianca Censori, who went viral after showing up at the Grammys in a 'nude outfit', had also split up with him after his comments in 2025.
However, she spoke recently about her husband's struggles and confirmed that she still loves him, while admitting that her confusing outfit choice was a collaboration.
She told Vanity Fair: âI wouldnât be doing something I didnât want to do. Me and my husband would work on my outfits together. So it was like a collaboration, it was never âI was being told to do something.â...
"If you were married to Gianni Versace, wouldnât he give you a dress or something?â
Censori also earns a directing credit on West's new album, but you'd imagine that she's far less likely to follow in Blake's footsteps and ask for that to be removed.
