Kayne West has reportedly changed his name for the second time.
So far this year, the controversial rapper - who legally modified his first name to Ye in 2021 - has hit headlines for all the wrong reasons.
Back in February he went on an anti-Semitic rant on X, stating that he 'loves Hitler' and that he is 'a Nazi'. A few months later, he released a single titled 'Heil Hitler' and started selling swastika-branded clothing on his website.

During this period he also reportedly 'split' from his wife Bianca Censori, who he posed alongside with at the Grammys while she wore a shocking 'naked' dress designed by him.
Last month, however, he posted a series of 'remorseful' tweets, and many have questioned the sincerity of them.
“I am done with antisemitism,” he tweeted on 22 May, adding: “God forgive me for the pain I’ve caused.”

Then known as Ye, the father-of-four said a FaceTime call with his children - who he shares with ex-wife Kim Kardashian - gave him a change of heart.

Well, it now appears that the 'Stronger' rapper is changing a lot of things, including his name.
As reported by Page Six, the outlet claims to have obtained 'new business documents in California' that indicate the Ye's name-change.
His chief financial officer, Hussain Lalani, has reportedly filed new documents under the name 'Ye Ye'.
The outlet claims that the new name appears on paperwork filed in a number of his businesses, including Yeezy Apparel, Yeezy Record Label, LLC and Getting Out Our Dreams Inc.
Ye - or Ye Ye as he is now reportedly known - is yet to publicly announce his alleged name change.

Although at the start of the month, the 24-time Grammy winner wrote on X: "Ima finally stop using the @kanyewest twitter cause my name is Ye.
"Gonna start a ye account and it is what it is."

It comes after his chief of staff, Milo Yiannopoulos, reportedly wrote in a letter obtained by Page Six in March 2024 that West be referred to as Ye.
“Ye is one of the most recognisable people in the world, on par with presidents and popes,” the letter reportedly read.

“He didn’t take the decision to change his name, potentially sacrificing some of the immense value captured by the brand of ‘Kanye West,’ lightly. The change was made fully, legally, and permanently. This is who he is now. His name is Ye.”
The British far-right political commentator called for 'streaming platforms, publishers, stores, unions, lyrics websites and data resellers' to implement the name change.
“He has on several occasions referred to it as his slave name,” he added. “Ye is a black man in America who wants the right to full self-determination just like everyone else.”
LADbible Group has contacted Ye's representatives for comment.
