Kim Kardashian criticised after fans spot her 'stealing' Monaco Grand Prix winner's towel

Kim Kardashian has come under fire again after she was spotted ‘stealing’ a towel left out for Monaco Grand Prix winner Kimi Antonelli.

At the weekend, the reality star flew out to Monaco to support boyfriend Lewis Hamilton at one of the highlights of the F1 calendar.

The 45-year-old arrived with her sister Khloe looking ultra-glamorous in a cream one-shouldered dress and an oversized pair of sunnies.

Hamilton, who came second, was seen blowing a kiss to Kardashian before collecting his runner-up trophy - and later publicly spoke about their relationship for the first time.

“It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support,” he said.

“It is amazing to have good people around you, good people supporting you, and she does that for me every day.”

However, the weekend wasn't all smooth sailing for Kardashian.

She was met with a backlash from F1 fans after her awkward encounter with Sky Sports legend Martin Brundle, who attempted to have a quick chat with her during the grid walk but was met with stony silence.

Now, fans have shared what appeared to be another faux pas from the TV personality as she was seen picking up a towel that had seemingly been left out for winner Antonelli.

According to news.com.au, the small towels are provided to the top three drivers so they can cool off post-race.

In a clip shared on X, Kardashian can be seen walking past the winner’s podium, emblazoned with a large number 1 on the side, and picking up a white towel.

She then used the towel to wipe her sunnies and her face, before walking off with it in her hands.

Fans were left annoyed after seeing the clip with one writing: “I remember the 80s and 90s when Monaco was the epitome of class. Not so much anymore.”

“Imagine getting your first Monaco podium and immediately losing your towel to Kim Kardashian,” another said.

A third said: “The fact that she completely ignored Brundle during the grid walk had me enraged already. This takes the cake.”

Someone else questioned: Why is Kim Kardashian stealing F1 towels?"

However, some folks were a little more sympathetic, suggesting that Kardashian probably had no idea who the towel belonged to and simply picked it up as she walked past.
