Let’s be honest, being swept up in what appeared to be Kim and Khloé Kardashian’s entourage probably wasn’t on Holly Willoughby’s bingo card when she accepted an invitation to attend the Monaco Grand Prix. But it is what it is.
The former This Morning presenter, who left ITV’s flagship variety show back in October 2023, was joined by Michael McIntyre on the grid, with the pair being stopped for an interview with Sky Sports.
Just seconds after admitting she and her fellow broadcaster were ‘so lucky’ to be at the event, the pair appeared to be shunted aside by members of the press vying for a piece of the Kardashian clan.
In hilarious footage, Kim, 45, and Khloé, 41, who were at the GP supporting Sir Lewis Hamilton, 41, could be seen weaving their way through the crowd, accidentally interrupting Willoughby and McIntryre’s interview.

“It’s the Kardashians! It’s the Kardashians! I’m joining them,” the British comedian cried as he trundled along after the businesswomen.
To her credit, Kim did look back over her shoulder but did not make a remark about McIntyre’s outburst or the ‘trashed’ interview.
“I’ve just been hit by a wave. You know when you’re on holiday and a wave hits you? And it’s like ‘that’s actually quite dangerous’ - we’ve been Kardashian waved! My back’s gone,” McIntyre quipped.
Willoughby, who has since broken her silence, joked at the time that her friend almost ‘joined in’ with their posse.
“I think something belonging to Kim - I’m not saying anything - may have struck me in my lower back area,” he added. “And I [have] got to tell you, it hurt.”

Willoughby and McIntryre’s off-the-cuff Monaco GP interview has gone viral across social media, with many praising the pair for how they handled the moment.
“Respect to all three of them for handling it with class and making jokes about it,” typed one.

However, a second said: “Why do people get flustered over these Kardashians?”
Someone else used the opportunity to defend the Kardashians, writing: “Looks more like the people chasing them around the paddock are to blame.”
Holly Willoughby breaks silence
Willoughby, who said she was at the Monaco GP on Sunday (7 June) with the Atlassian Williams F1 team, has since taken to Instagram to detail her experience during the pre-grid walk.
"What a weekend! Monaco you didn’t disappoint… @williamsft1 team @jv.f1 thank you for having us,” she typed.
"Hard to pick a highlight, grid walks, hot laps (I will post this later, safe to say I wasn’t built for speed) all topped off by getting caught up in a @kimkardashian fly past.

The star, who has appeared in episodes of Ted Lasso, The Masked Dancer, and on Michael McIntyre’s The Wheel in 2020, also thanked two people called Barry and Daimo for their ‘hospitality’.
“That’s one weekend that I’ll never forget,” the mum-of-three added.
Lewis Hamilton discusses Kim Kardashian's 'support'
Willoughby’s statement comes amid Hamilton’s confession that he enjoyed having his rumoured girlfriend on the grid with him.
After scoring a P2, the Ferrari sportsman sat down in a post-race interview to discuss her presence.
“It is amazing to have her come this weekend and to have that support,” he said of the Skims founder.

He said it was ‘incredible’ to be supported by his friends and that it was ‘amazing’ to have a slew of ‘good people’ around him.
Regarding the ‘support’, the British racing driver added: “She does that for me every day.”
Kim Kardashian's so-called Martin Brundle 'snub'
Alongside going viral for seemingly interrupting Willoughby and McIntyre’s Sky Sports interview, Kim made headlines for apparently ‘snubbing’ her own.
In viral footage, former F1 driver Martin Brundle could be seen trying to pull the mother-of-four for a chat as she coasted around with her sister.
Speaking to Brundle, 67, at Formula One events is somewhat of an unspoken rule, which he has christened the ‘Brundle clause’ in the past.
In footage, Brundle could be seen introducing himself to Kim before asking how she was.

Despite looking at him, the reality TV favourite elected not to reply.
A man who appeared to be a secruity guard appeared to step between the pair, with the Sky Sports reporter saying: “You don’t need to push me, mate.
“Normally, people will have a quick chat with us. Are you enjoying F1?”
"Okay, Kim and Khloé, so we’re not talking today. I like to believe they might do...”
Kim’s decision not to give an interview hasn’t gone down too well with fans, with one typing via social media: “Lewis should have had a word with his Mrs and tell her, 'Don’t ignore Martin. Lewis knows the score'.”
Another said: "Oh no, I thought I liked her until this. He's the legend here.”
LADbible Group has previously contacted representatives of Kim Kardashian for comment.
