Michael Jackson's son - best known as 'Blanket' - has been photographed in a rare family photo alongside his cousins.

Blanket's last public appearance was alongside his half-brother Prince, 26, as they attended a Cirque du Soleil performance in honour of his late father's 65th birthday in August 2023.

The YouTuber and filmmaker was born as Prince Michael Jackson II via surrogacy on February 21, 2002, in La Mesa, California.

The identity of the surrogate mother remains unknown, as the boy grew up at Neverland Ranch with his half-siblings.

Following the death of his father in 2009, he has kept a fairly low profile since.

However, the 21-year-old - who knows go by the name Bigi - has recently posed in a family photo shared by rapper Omer Bhatti on 28 January.

Captioned 'Lately', the Instagram post featured Randy Jackson Jr., 32, Donté Jackson, Royal Jackson and Jermajesty Jackson, 23.

Bhatti was always around the Jackson kids growing up as he previously spoke about the family dynamic during an episode of Paris Jackson's series Unfiltered.

"Being on TV and having these appearances later led me to Michael Jackson, where he, in a way, adopted me and became like a mentor and a father figure for me," he said.

"As a little kid, looking up to him, the way I did back then, it’s like everything that I saw, it’s like I was like a sponge, just taking up everything.

"He would later say that I was like a mini-version of him, and I ended up going on tour with him. I would have a seat, like, right on stage…"

In a fascinating interview with the Los Angeles Times in 2016, eldest son Prince explained why he and his siblings were made to wear masks to cover their identities when they were children.

Prince said: “My dad spoke to me like an adult.

“He told us the reason for the masks was he wanted us to have our own life without him.

“I don't think I ever thought about if other kids lived like that when I was younger.

“But once I knew who he was, I realised it wasn’t normal.

“I remember being in Disneyland and I went to the window and there were all these fans waving and taking pictures of me.

“I thought it was normal, so I just waved back.

“You could say my whole life has been unconventional.

“I really love that though, and it's all I've ever known.

“It wasn’t until I saw a video of him performing and people were fainting and passing out, when I realised the work he did meant a lot to people.”
