Millie Bobby Brown's old adoption comments have resurfaced after it was confirmed earlier this week that the actor has adopted her first child.
The Stranger Things star, who returns to the screen in the upcoming final series of the hugely popular Netflix show, confirmed earlier this week that she and her husband Jake Bongiovi have welcomed a baby girl into their family.
Taking to Instagram, the 21-year-old wrote: "This summer, we welcomed our sweet baby girl through adoption. We are beyond excited to embark on this beautiful next chapter of parenthood in both peace and privacy."
Of course, there have been many jokes about the number of years it has taken to film Stranger Things season five and now the audience will have to believe that the married 21-year-old mother is still playing a teenager on TV.

She said: "I'm still really young, but my mum actually had her first child at 21, and my dad was 19, and you know, it's been my thing since before I met Jake.
"I wanted to be a mum just like the way my mum was to me and, my grandmother is, she was a huge part of my life.
"And of course I want to focus on really establishing myself as an actor and as a producer, but I also find it's so important to start a family. For me personally, like, it's a huge thing."
Bobby Brown, who also lives with a wide range of adopted animals, made it clear that she was definitely open to the idea of adopting a baby as well, rather than the more traditional route of trying for one herself.
She added: "My thing was, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I'm one of four. He's one of four. It is definitely in our future, but, for me, I don't see having your own child as really any different as in adopting.
"For me, like, my home is full of love for anyone and anything, and so that is what we stand by, Jake and I - our energy in the house is like, 'The door is always open.'"
Bobby Brown will return as Eleven in Stranger Things' final season later this year (Netflix) It certainly seems to have been the plan for some time given she was spotted buying nappies back in March, and was forced to downplay rumours that she was pregnant.
While Bobby Brown and Bongiovi, who is of course the son of legendary musician Jon Bon Jovi, might face some criticism from no doubt jealous folks on the internet, the young actor clearly has lots of love to give, and she should rightly say 'It's my life'.
